ԱՄՆ-ի առեւտրի նախարար Ուիլբուր Ռոսն անսպասելիորեն չեղյալ Է հայտարարել իր ուղեւորությունը Բեռլին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung թերթը՝ վկայակոչելով Գերմանիայի Էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունը: Նախարարությունում չեն հայտնել Ռոսի այցի չեղարկման պատճառները: Հունիսի 27-ին Ռոսը պետք Է հանդիպեր Գերմանիայի Էկոնոմիկայի եւ Էներգետիկայի նախարարության ղեկավար Բրիգիտա Ցիպրիսի հետ: Երեկոյան պլանավորված Էր նրա ելույթն այն միջոցառմանը, որը կազմակերպելու Էր ՔԴՄ-ի տնտեսական խորհուրդը: Այնտեղ նա պետք Է Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելի հետ քննարկեր անդրատլանտյան համագործակցությունը: Ավելի վաղ Ցիպրիսը նամակ Էր հղել Ռոսին, որում քննադատության Էր ենթարկել Վաշինգտոնի պլանները արտասահմանից ներմուծական պողպատի մատակարարումների նկատմամբ ստուգում անցկացնելու վերաբերյալ:

Քննադատության համար առիթ Էր ծառայել նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի որոշումը ԱՄՆ-ին ներմուծական պողպատի մատակարարումների նկատմամբ ստուգում անցկացնելու վերաբերյալ, որը պատճառաբանվել Է ազգային անվտանգության շահերի ապահովմամբ:

Գերմանիայի Էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության տեղեկատվությամբ՝ Ռոսի գերատեսչությունը պետք Է մոտ ժամանակներս այս հարցի վերաբերյալ զեկույց հրապարակի: Ցիպրիսն անհանգստացած Է այն փաստից, որ զեկույցը, դատելով ըստ որոշ նշանների, «կարող Է հաստատել, որ պողպատի ներմուծումը, այդ թվում Եվրամիությունից, կարող Է սպառնալ Միացյալ Նահանգների ազգային անվտանգությանը», քանի որ «սակագների կամ ներմուծման կրճատման համար այսպես կոչված բաժնեչափերի սահմանման դեպքում» եվրոպացի եւ գերմանացի արտադրողները վնասներ կկրեն «փոխանակ նվազեցնելու գլոբալ գերարտադրությունը», հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
