Հայկական շոու բիզնեսում երևի թե չկա մեկը, ով իր արտաքինը պլաստիկ միջամտությունների ենթարկած չլինի: Շատ է խոսվել այն մասին, որ մեր հայտնիները այս առումով չափն իսկապես անցնում են, դառնում են արհեստական, անճանաչելի, անբնական... Ու եթե համեմատելու լինենք մեր, արևմտյան և ռուսական աստղերի պլաստիկ միջամտությունների արդյունքները, կտեսնենք, որ, իսկապես, հայ հայտնիները կարծես թե հենց դիտավորյալ ու նպատակային են անում այնպիսի վիրահատություններ, որ կորցնեն իրենց դեմքի բնական արտահայտությունն ու դառնան միանման, ստանդարտ ու միևնույն շաբլոն դեմքով:

Անհաջող ու ձախողված պլաստիկ վիրահատությունների առումով առանձնահատուկ է Եվա Ռիվասի օրինակը, քանի որ Եվան, երբ հայտնվեց մեր շոու բիզնեսում, միանգամից առանձնացավ իր գեղեցկությամբ ու իսկապես տպավորիչ դիմագծերով: Առաջին իսկ օրից Եվային բոլորը միաբերան գեղեցկուհի անվանեցին՝ խոշոր աչքեր, գեղեցիկ քիթ, ընդգծված շուրթեր... Սակայն Եվան բավարարված չէր իր արտաքինով ու ժամանակի ընթացքում, քիչ-քիչ նա անընդհատ ձևափոխումների ենթարկեց իր դեմքը: Հոնքերի ձև, դեմքի օվալ, քիթ, շուրթեր, այտոսկրեր. Եվայի դեմքին չկա մի կետ, որը պլաստիկ միջամտության ենթարկված չլինի: Բազմաթիվ ներարկումներից ու իմպլանտներից երբեմնի գեղեցկուհի Եվայի դեմքն այսօր իսկական ռետինե դիմակ է հիշեցնում: Նայում ես Եվային ու հասկանում, որ պարապ մարդու ձեռքում մեծ գումարներ դնելը իսկական հանցագործություն է, որովհետև երբ մարդը չգիտի՝ ինչի վրա կարելի է փող ծախսել, սկսում է այն ծախսել ի վնաս սեփական անձի:
