Պարզվում է, որ Գաջրաջին պատահական բռնել են վայրի բնության մեջ, երբ նա դեռևս փոքրիկ ձագուկ էր: Այդ օրից ի վեր կենդանին 58 տարի շարունակ զբոսաշրջիկների համար ծառայել է որպես զվարճանքի ու հետաքրքրասիրության աղբյուր:
