ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը չի բացառում CNN լրատվական կայքի դեմ դատական հայց ներկայացնելու հնարավորությունը։ Այս մասին հայտնել է CBS հեռուստաընկերությունը՝ շարադրելով ու մեկնաբանելով նախագահի արտահայտությունները Հանրապետական կուսակցության օգտին դրամահավաքի համար կազմակերպված ընդունելության ժամանակ՝ Վաշինգտոնում նրա սեփական հյուրանոցում, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

ՄԻջոցառումը մամուլի համար փակ էր, բայց CBS-ի խոսքով,. Թրամփի ելույթի աուդիոձայնագրությունը գտել ու ուրբաթ տարածել էր The Intercept ցանցային պարբերականը։

Ըստ հրապարակման, ԱՄՆ նախագահը իր 40 րոպեանոց ելույթում կոպիտ ծաղրել է CNN-ը ու նրա ղեկավարությանը՝ նախագահ Ջեֆ Զաքերի ղեկավարությամբ։ Ղեկավարությունը, նրա կարծիքով, «խայտառակ ձեւով» փչացրել է իր հեռուստաընկերության ապրանքանիշը։

«Նրանք իսկապես անազնիվ մարդիկ են,- ասել է մասնավորապես Թրամփը,- Գո՞ւցե դատի տամ նրանց։ Այսինքն, ես լսել եմ՝ Ջեֆ Զաքերը շուտով հրաժարական է տալու։ Սարսափելի մարդիկ են»։ «Եթե այստեղ դահլիճում կան իրավաբաններ, որոնք համարում են, որ մենք հայցի համար լավ հիմքեր ունենք․․․ Ես օրինակ այդպես եմ համարում։ Այ դա զվարճալի կլիներ»,- հավելել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը։

CBS –ը հիշեցնում է,որ ընդունելությանը մասնակցելու համար հյուրերից յուրաքանչյուրը 35 հազար դոլար է վճարել, իսկ հանրապետական կուսակցության համար ընդհանուր հավաքված գումարը պետք է կազմի մոտ 10 մլն դոլար։
