ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի տեղակալ, Հայաստան-Սլովակիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը, որի կազմում են ՀՀ ԱԺ պատգամավորներ Գագիկ Մելիքյանը եւ Վարդան Բոստանջյանը, Սլովակիա կատարած այցի շրջանակում հունիսի 30-ին հանդիպումներ է ունեցել Սլովակիայի Հանրապետության արտաքին ու եվրոպական գործերի նախարարության պետական քարտուղար Լուկաշ Պարիզեկի եւ Սլովակիա-Հայաստան բարեկամության խմբի ղեկավար Դուշան Տիտելի հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, կողմերն անդրադարձել են երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման հնարավորություններին: Պատվիրակության անդամներն ընդգծել են, որ Հայաստանը շահագրգիռ է Սլովակիայի հետ քաղաքական երկխոսության զարգացմամբ:

Քննարկվել են Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն հարաբերությունների ներկա մակարդակին ու զարգացման հեռանկարներին առնչվող հարցեր: Պարոն Շարմազանովն այս համատեքստում համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանը եվրոպական արժեհամակարգի եւ քաղաքակրթության մի մասնիկն է եւ շարունակում է ժողովրդավարական կառույցների ամրապնդմանն ուղղված բարեփոխումները:

Անդրադառնալով տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին` ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը խոսել է հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին եւ արցախա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում տեղի ունեցող ադրբեջանական սադրանքների մասին, որի պատճառով զոհեր են լինում: «Արցախա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում երկկողմ կորուստների միակ պատասխանատուն Ադրբեջանն է»,-նշել է Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: Նա հավելել է, որ Թուրքիան իր հերթին սրում է տարածաշրջանային լարվածությունը` փակ պահելով Հայաստանի հետ սահմանը եւ սատարելով Ադրբեջանի ահաբեկչական գործողություններին:

Կողմերը կարեւորել են աշխարհում ահագնացող ահաբեկչությունների դեմ պայքարի անհրաժեշտությունը: «Մենք պետք է միավորվենք ահաբեկչության, այլատյացության եւ խնդիրները ռազմական ճանապարհով լուծելու փորձերի դեմ»,-ասել է Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը:

Այցի շրջանակում Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը ծաղկեպսակ է դրել Բրատիսլավայում տեղադրված Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող խաչքարին:
