 Երեւանի Սմբատ Բյուրատի անվան թիվ 125 հիմնական դպրոցում հուլիսի 1-ին անցկացվեց «Արաբկիր» միացյալ մանկական բարեգործական հիմնադրամի, Լոս Անջելեսի Կավուկչյան ընտանիքի եւ լսողական սարքերի արդյունաբերող ամերիկյան հանրահայտ Սթարկի (Starkey) ընկերության հետ համատեղ բարեգործական նախաձեռնության երկրորդ փուլը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ անապահով և սոցիալական խոցելի խմբերի մի քանի տասնյակ անձինք եկել էին ստանալու իրենց լսողական սարքերը: Համար 125 հիմնական դպրոցում նախաձեռնությունը կշարունակվի նաեւ հուլիսի 2-ին: Հայաստանում համատեղ իրականացվող բարեգործական առաքելության շրջանակներում լսողական սարքերով են ապահովելու մոտ 2000 անձանց։ Ծրագրի հիմնական թիրախ են հանդիսանում սոցիալապես անապահով և խոցելի խմբերը:

Բարեգործական ծրագիրը բարեհաջող ավարտելով իր առաջին փուլը, անցում է կատարել երկրորդ փուլին, որը մեկնարկել է հունիսի 30-ից: Հուլիսի 3-6-ը բարեգործական նախաձեռնությունը կշարունակվի Գյումրիում՝ Շիրակի և Լոռու մարզերի շահառուների համար, որտեղ կկազմակերպվեն լսողության սկրինինգի, սարքերի կաղապարների չափումների աշխատանքներ, ինչպես նաև համակարգող անձնակազմի ուսուցողական դասընթացներ:

Սթարկի ընկերությունն ու Սթարկի լսողության հիմնադրամը սույն առաքելությունն իրականացրել են աշխարհի 106 երկրներում, որոնցից 52-ում այն կրում է շարունակական բնույթ: Հայաստանը լինելու է թվով 107-ը, որի հաջողության դեպքում այն նույնպես լինելու է շարունակական և կայուն ծրագիր:

Ծրագիրը բաղկացած է երեք փուլից. կարիքավոր անձանց հայտնաբերում և լսողության սկրինինգ, համակարգող անձնակազմի կրթում և սարքերի կաղապարների չափում և ապա մոտ2000 անձանց լսողական սարքերի տեղադրում (4000 սարք): Ըստ առաջին փուլի տվյալների՝ հայտնաբերված և լսողության ստուգում անցած կարիքավորների թիվը Երևան քաղաքում կազմում է 533, Շիրակի մարզում՝ 729, Լոռու մարզում՝ 287 և Տավուշի մարզում 245: Ընդգրկված են տարիքային բոլոր խմբերը: Ծրագրի կազմակերպիչներն ապահովելու են Տավուշի մարզի շահառուների տեղափոխումը Երևան և հետ, ինչպես նաև Լոռու մարզի շահառուների տեղափոխումը Գյումրի և հետ:

«Արաբկիր» Միացյալ մանկական բարեգործական հիմնադրամը, ստեղծվել է 1995թ. և տարիներ շարունակ գործունեություն է ծավալում մտավոր, ֆիզիկական, լսողական, հաղորդակցման և այլ խնդիրներ ունեցող անձանց վերականգնողական ծառայությունների և հասարակության մեջ ինտեգրման ծրագրերի իրականացման ուղղությամբ»:
