Երբ Սպիտակ տունը լքելուն քիչ ժամանակ էր մնացել, նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման արդեն կատակում էր իր սպիտակող մազերի մասին։

«Առաջին բանը, որ ուզում եմ երիտասարդներից, ինձ ծեր չկոչելն է,- 2015-ին ասել է Օբաման։- Երբ նոր էի եկել, ոչ մի սպիտակ մազ չունեի, իսկ հիմա ունեմ, շատ ունեմ։ Ես չեմ ներկում մազերս, չնայած հարգարժան գործընկերներիցս շատերը ներկում են։ Չեմ ասի, թե ովքեր, բայց առնվազն նրանց վարսահարդարները գիտեն»։

Օբամայի շատ կարճ սանրվածքի պատճառով նրա մազերի գույնը տեսանելի է բոլորին, կարծես սև պղպեղի և աղի խառնուրդ լինի։ Ոմանք ասում են, որ այդքան արագ ծերացումը նախագահի դժվար ու սթրեսային պաշտոնը ստանձնելու արդյունքն է, սակայն շատերն էլ պնդում են, որ ծերացումը իրենց դեպքում բնական երևույթ է։
