 Հայաստանում 2016թ. գրանցվել է հանցագործության 18 հազար 764 դեպք: Ազգային ժողովում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դատախազության 2016 թվականի գործունեության մասին հաղորդման քննարկման ժամանակ այս մասին հայտնեց ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Արթուր Դավթյանը: «2016թ. նախորդող տարվա համեմատ հանցագործություններն աճել են 1721-ով կամ 10 տոկոսով: «Հանցագործությունների բացահայտումը 2016թ. կազմել է 78.5 տոկոս: Բացահայտումն աճել է 2.8 տոկոսով»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Արթուր Դավթյանը:

2016թ. արձանագրվել է հրազենի գործադրմամբ հանցագործության 65 դեպք, որոնցից բացահայտվել է 57-ը կամ 87.7 տոկոսը: 2016թ. հանցագործության դեպքերը նվազել են միայն Երևանի Նորք-Մարաշ և Կենտրոն վարչական շրջաններում ու Տավուշի մարզում, իսկ մնացած մարզերում գրանցվել է հանցագործությունների աճ:

Անցած տարի հանցավորության ընդհանուր կառուցվածքում աճել են միջին ծանրության և առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործությունները, իսկ ծանր հանցագործության դեպքերը նվազել են: «Միջին ծանր հանցագործության դեպքերն աճել են 273-ով, առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործությունները՝ 33 դեպքով: Ծանր հանցագործության դեպքերը նվազել են 157 դեպքով»,- ընդգծեց ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազը:

Անցած տարվա ընթացքում նվազել են անչափահասների մասնակցությամբ հանցագործությունները: Արթուր Դավթյանը հայտնեց, որ 2016թ. կատարվել է անչափահասների մասնակցությամբ հանցագործության 351 դեպք, մինչդեռ 2015թ. անչափահասների մասնակցությամբ հանցագործությունների 385 դեպք էր գրանցվել:

2017թ. հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ հետախուզման մեջ է գտնվում 12 հազար 698 հանցագործ, որոնցից 11 հազար 286-ը կատարել է միջին ծանրության, 792-ը՝ ծանր, 214-ը՝ առանձնապես ծանր, իսկ 406-ը՝ ոչ մեծ ծանրության հանցագործություն:

2016թ. նվազել են նաև մարդու դեմ ուղղված հանցագործության դեպքերը: Անցած տարվա ընթացքում գրանցվել է մարդու դեմ հանցագործության 4895 դեպք, 2015թ. գրանցված 4973 դեպքի դիմաց:
