Վրանային ճամբարների գնալը ենթադրում է, որ հետաքրքիր և ուրախ ժամանակ եք անցկացնելու բնության գրկում, լճի կամ գետի ափին, միլիոնավոր աստղերի տակ։

Բայց 19-ամյա Դիլանի համար այս անգամ ամենևին էլ այդպես չեղավ։ Նա ոչ թե մասնակցում էր Կոլորադոյում կազմակերպված այդ ճամբարին, այլ հենց դրա կազմակերպիչներից էր։

Ճամբարականների խումբը քնապարկերով արդեն մեկ գիշեր էր անցկացրել լճի ափին՝ անտառի հարևանությամբ։ Սակայն հաջորդ գիշերը՝ ժամը 4-ին, Դիլանին արթնացրեց կրծելուն նմանվող մի ձայն։ Աչքերը բացելուն պես նա հասկացավ, որ իր գլուխը գտնվում է արջի բերանից մի քանի սանտիմետր հեռավորության վրա։ Արջը որոշել էր կրծոտել տղայի գլուխը, սակայն վերջինիս արթնանալուց հետո կենդանին նրան սկսեց այս ու այն կողմ շպրտել, ապա 3-4 մետր հեռու նետելուց հետո փախավ։

19-ամյա տղային շտապ հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխել, ուր նա վերականգնողական կուրսեր է ընդունում։

Վայրի բնության պաշտպանության աշխատակիցներն արդեն գտել ու քնեցրել են հարձակում գործած արջին, քանի որ նրա վարքագիծը շատ վտանգավոր կարող էր լինել նաև մյուսների համար։
