Մերձավոր Արևելքի անվտանգությանն ու կայունությանը սպառնացող իրական վտանգը տարածաշրջանի երկրների գործերում Միացյալ Նահանգների միջամտությունն է: Այդ մասին հայտարարել է Իրանի արտգործնախարարության ներկայացուցիչ Բահրամ Քասեմին, գրում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն:

«Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը վստահ է, որ մեր տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության, կայունության և զարգացման համար լուրջ և իրական վտանգ է ԱՄՆ միջամտությունը երկրների ներքին գործերում, որն իրականացվում է իրավիճակի ապակայունացման հատուկ նպատակներով»,- ասված է Իրանի ԱԳՆ-ի կայքում հրապարակված Քասեմիի հայտարարությունում:

Խոսելով Իրանի ռազմական ծրագրերի մասին` Քասեմին նշել է, որ դրանք նախատեսված են զսպման համար և ուղղված են երկրի պաշտպանության աջակցությանը: Նրա խոսքով՝ Իրանը երբեք չի դիտարկել այդ ոլորտում իր հնարավորությունները որևէ երկրի սպառնալու համար:

Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել է, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը նոր պատժամիջոցներ է սահմանել Ւրանի 18 կազմակերպության և ֆիզիկական անձանց նկատմամբ բալիստիկ հրթիռների զարգացմանը և այլ գործունեությանը մասնակցության համար, որն ԱՄՆ-ն անթույլատրելի է համարում: 

Ֆինանսների նախարարության պատժամիջոցների ցանկում է ընդգրկվել յոթ կազմակերպություն և հինգ մասնավոր անձ, որոնք աջակցում են Իրանի զինված ուժերին և Իսլամական Հեղափոխության պահակախմբի կորպուսին, ինչպես նաև «Իրանում գտնվող անդրազգային քրեական խումբ» և դրա հետ կապված երեք անձ:

Պետքարտուղարության պատժամիջոցների ցանկում է ընդգրկվել երկու իրանական կազմակերպություն, որոնք, ինչպես կարծում է ԱՄՆ-ն, ներգրավված են բալիստիկ հրթիռների ստեղծման ծրագրում:
