Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ եկեղեցու կողմից նշվող Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Պայծառակերպության կամ Վարդավառի տոնին նվիրված միջոցառումների մեկնարկն այս տարի ևս տրվել է Արարատյան Հայրապետական թեմի առաջնորդանիստ Սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցուց սկիզբ առած տոնական երթով:

Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի և Արարատյան Հայրապետական թեմի կողմից կազմակերպված համատեղ միջոցառմանը մասնակից մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչներն ու հյուրերը, հայկական ազգային երգ ու պարով եկեղեցու բակից շարժվել են դեպի Մանկական զբոսայգի, որտեղ տեղի է ունեցել տոնական համերգային ծրագիր: 

Միջոցառմանը ներկա է գտնվել նաև Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմի մշակույթի վարչության պետ Ռուբեն Հովհաննիսյանը:

Ազգային երգ ու պարով ուղեկցվող համերգային ծրագրում ներկայացվել են տոնի խորհրդին համահունչ խաղերն ու ծեսերը, այդ թվում նաև խնձոր խորովելն ու հասկերի բաժանումը, որի անմիջական մասնակից են դարձել նաև այգում հավաքված երևանցիներն ու մայրաքաղաքի հյուրերը:
