Կորեական թերակղզու շուրջ ստեղծված նախապատերազմական իրավիճակը շարունակում է պահպանվել. Հյուսիսային Կորեան սպառնացել է անխնա միջուկային հարված հասցնել Միացյալ Նահանգների «սրտին», եթե նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի վարչակազմը վտանգի տակ դնի Կիմ Չեն Ընի ռեժիմը:

Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, Կորեայի կենտրոնական լրատվական գործակալության փոխանցմամբ՝ այս հայտարարությունն արվել է ի պատասխան Կենտրոնական հետախուզական վարչության (ԿՀՎ) տնօրեն Մայք Պոմպեոյի մեկնաբանությանն առ այն, որ Թրամփի վարչակազմը պետք է Հյուսիսային Կորեայի գերագույն առաջնորդին երկրի միջուկային զինանոցից բաժանելու տարբերակ գտնի:

«Ես լիահույս եմ, որ մենք տարբերակ կգտնենք ռեժիմին միջուկային զենքի համակարգից բաժանելու համար: Վստահ եմ, որ հյուսիսկորեացիները լավ մարդիկ են ու շատ կուզենային, որ նա (Կիմ Չեն Ընը-Tert.am) հեռանա»,-ասել է Պոմպեոն:

Սրան ի պատասխան Կորեայի կենտրոնական լրատվական գործակալությունը նշել է, որ ԿՀՎ-ի տնօրենի մեկնաբանությունները «վերջնագծից այն կողմ» են:

«Այժմ ակնհայտ դարձավ Թրամփի վարչակազմի իրական նպատակը, այն է՝ ռեժիմի փոփոխություն»,-նշել է գործակալությունը:

Այն մեջբերել է Հյուսիսային Կորեայի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության խոսնակին, որը նշել է, որ երկրի գերագույն առաջնորդի վտանգի տակ հայտնվելու դեպքում կիրականացվեն հարվածներ՝ այդ թվում նաև միջուկային:

«ԱՄՆ-ն միայն թող փորձվի թեթև նշույլ ցույց տալ մեր գերագույն իշխանությանը հեռացնելու ուղղությամբ, և մենք մեր հզոր միջուկային զինանոցով անխնա միջուկային հարված կհասցնենք Միացյալ Նահանգների սրտին»,-ասել է ԱԳՆ խոսնակը:
