Ինչպես հայտնի է, ԱՄՆ ներկայիս նախագահը Դոնալդ Թրամփն է, ով իսկապես շատ է տարբերվում Ամերիկայի նախկին բոլոր նախագահներից։ Բայց բացի նրա՝ անչափ տարբերվող քաղաքական հայացքներից և վարած քաղաքականությունից՝ նա տարբերվում է ևս մեկ բանով․ նախագահական ընտանիքում բացակայում են ընտանի կենդանիները։

Սա առաջին անգամ է պատահում Սպիտակ տանը, որ նախագահի ու իր ընտանիքի հետ որևէ ընտանի կենդանի չի ապրում՝ ո՛չ շուն, ո՛չ կատու, ո՛չ մուկ, ո՛չ թռչուն․․․

Սա իսկապես տարօրինակ է, քանի որ ԱՄՆ նախկին բոլոր նախագահներն ունեցել են որևէ ընտանի կենդանի։ Այսպիսով՝ Թրամփը վերջ դրեց այդ միգուցե լավ ու բարի ավանդույթին։

Օրինակ՝ Օբամաներն ունեին պորտուգալական ջրային շուն՝ Բո անունով, Ռոնալդ Ռեյգանն էլ Սպանիել ցեղատեսակի Ռեքս անունով շուն ուներ։ Երևի ամենակենդանասերը Քենեդին էր․ նա մի ամբողջ «ֆերմա» ուներ՝ կատու, նապաստակ, մի քանի թռչուններ, մի քանի համստերներ և տասը շուն։ Իսկ ամենայուրօրինակն էլ Թոմաս Ջեֆերսոնն էր․ նա 2 արջ ուներ։

Նաև հարկ է նշել, որ իր թվիթերյան էջում Թրամփը բազմիցս է շուն բառն այլ իմաստներով օգտագործել։ Օրինակ, երբ գրել էր, թե National Review ամսագրի խմբագիրներից մեկը եկել էր իր մոտ և շան պես աղերսում էր, որ գումար տա իրեն։

Միգուցե նա իսկապես շատ է ատում շներին և բոլոր մյուս կենդանիներին։
