Կոլումբիայի ոստիկանությունը ձերբակալել է Ատլանտիկոյի 42-ամյա բնակչին՝ երկու անձի սպանության կասկածանքով։ Publimetro տեղեկատվական պորտալի փոխանցմամբ՝ ձերբակալված տղամարդն անձամբ է ներկայացել ոստիկանություն եւ խոստովանել, որ կրակել եւ սպանել է կնոջն ու նրա սիրեկանին՝ բռնացնելով իր տանը սեռական հարաբերություն ունենալիս։

Կասկածյալի ցուցմունքների համաձայն՝ կնոջը դավաճանության մեջ կասկածել է այն բանից հետո, երբ այդ մասին սկսել են խոսել հարեւանները։  Տղամարդն աշխատել է գիշերային պահակ եւ չէր կարող տեսնել, թե ինչպես է տեղացի 35-ամյա տղամարդն այցելում իր 39-ամյա կնոջը։ Մի օր էլ իր կասկածներն ստուգելու համար ամուսինն ասել է, որ գնում է աշխատանքի, թեեւ այդ օրն իր հանգստյան օրն էր,  որոշ ժամանակ հետո զանգել  աշխատավայրից, հետաքրքրվել երեխաների որպիսությամբ, որպեսզի կինը չկասկածի, ապա ուղեւորվել տուն։

Նա տուն է մտել հենց այն պահին, երբ կինը սեքսով էր զբաղվում սիրեկանի հետ։ Առանց վարանելու ամուսինը ծառայողական զենքով երկուսին էլ սպանել է։ Նրան չի կանգնեցրել նաեւ այն հանգամանքը, որ մյուս սենյակում այդ պահին քնած են եղել իր երեք մանկահասակ երեխաները։

Սպանությունից անմիջապես հետո նա հանձնվել է։
