ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը ողջունել Է ԿԺԴՀ-ի ղեկավար Կիմ Չեն Ընի՝ Գուամի շրջան բալիստիկ հրթիռներ չարձակելու «իմաստուն որոշումը», որտեղ տեղակայված են ամերիկյան Անդերսեն ավիաբազան եւ Ափրա-Հարբոռն ռազմածովային բազան:

«ԿԺԴՀ-ի ղեկավար Կիմ Չեն Ընը շատ իմաստուն եւ հիմնավորված որոշում Է ընդունել: Այլընտրանքը կլիներ աղետալի եւ անընդունելի»,- գրել Է Թրամփը Twitter-ի իր միկրոբլոգում:

Ավելի վաղ Կիմ Չեն Ընը ռազմավարական զորամասեր կատարած տեսչական ուղեւորության ժամանակ հայտարարել Էր, որ պատրաստ Է «Էլի ինչ-որ մի ժամանակ նայել յանկիների հիմար գործելակերպին», բայց նրանց առաջարկում Է «պայծառ գլխով կշռադատել բոլոր պլյուսներն ու մինուսները եւ հասկանալ, որ առճակատումը նպաստավոր չԷ երկու կողմերի համար:

Թրամփի այս գնահատանը հնչել Է Կորեական թերակղզում ռազմական դիմակայության սրման ֆոնին, որին հանգեցրել են Փենյանի եւ Վաշինգտոնի մի շարք սուր հայտարարությունները: Անցյալ շաբաթ Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել Է, թե ԿԺԴՀ-ն չպետք Է սպառնա ԱՄՆ-ին, եւ խոստացել Է հարձակումներին պատասխանել «կրակով եւ ցասումով, որոնք աշխարհը երբեք չի տեսել», հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
