 ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի մոտ օգոստոսի 18-ին տեղի է ունեցել խորհրդակցություն՝ նվիրված Հայաստան-սփյուռք վեցերորդ համաժողովի և Համահայկական խորհրդի ձևավորման նախապատրաստման աշխատանքներին: 

Ինչպես  տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, համահայկական խորհրդի ձևավորման վերաբերյալ առկա հիմնական մոտեցումների և այդ մարմնի կազմավորման մեխանիզմների վերաբերյալ զեկուցել է Սահմանադրական դատարանի նախագահ, կազմակերպչական հանձնախմբի աշխատանքների համակարգման պատասխանատուներից Գագիկ Հարությունյանը: Հիշյալ մոտեցումներն ու մեխանիզմները, քննարկման առարկա կդառնան սեպտեմբերի 18-20-ը կայանալիք Հայաստան-սփյուռք 6-րդ համաժողովի նիստերից մեկում:

Հաշվի առնելով համահայկական նոր կառույցի վերաբերյալ նախորդ տարիների քննարկումները՝ Հանրապետության Նախագահը հանձնարարել է նախապատրաստել Համահայկական խորհրդի ձևավորման նպատակների, անդամության չափանիշերի, 2018թ. կայանալիք առաջին նիստի օրակարգի և աշխատակարգի նախագծերը՝ շահագրգիռ բոլոր կողմերի, այդ թվում՝ սփյուռքում գործող կազմակերպությունների ու կառույցների հետ համապատասխան քննարկումների արդյունքում:

Համահայկական խորհուրդ ձևավորելու շուրջ նախապատրաստական աշխատանք կատարելու մասին որոշումը միաձայն ընդունվել էր դեռևս 2015թ. սեպտեմբերին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումները համակարգող պետական հանձնաժողովի 6-րդ նիստում, որտեղ Հանրապետության Նախագահը, Ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումների ընթացքի ու առաջիկա անելիքների շուրջ կայացած ծավալուն քննարկումներն ամփոփելով, նշել էր, որ նկատվում է հետագա աշխատանքի համադրման, պարբերական շփումների մշտական հարթակ ձևավորելու ընդհանուր պահանջ: Նույն նիստում ձևավորվել էր կազմակերպչական հանձնախումբ, որին հանձնարարվել էր նախաձեռնել խորհրդատվությունների լայն, ներառական գործընթաց: Աշխատանքների համակարգման պատասխանատուներ էին նշանակվել ՍԴ նախագահ Գագիկ Հարությունյանը և Նախագահի աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը:
