Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն (ԿԽՄԿ) պատրաստ է աջակցել ԼՂ հակամարտության կողմերին, որպեսզի նրանք առաջադիմեն անհայտ կորածների ճակատագրի մասին տեղեկացնելու հարցում։
 
«Ընտանիքների կարիքները ԿԽՄԿ-ի աշխատանքի կենտրոնում են»,- ասում է Հայաստանում ԿԽՄԿ-ի պատվիրակության ղեկավար Կարոլին Դույեզը։ -Ընտանիքներն իրավունք ունեն իմանալու իրենց հարազատների ճակատագրի մասին։
 
Համաձայն միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքի՝ սա պետությունների պարտավորությունն է։ Մենք պատրաստ ենք աջակցելու հակամարտող կողմերի պատրաստակամությանը առաջադիմել այս կարևոր մարդասիրական հիմնահարցի շուրջ։ Երբեք ուշ կամ շուտ չէ ակտիվացնել ջանքերն այս ուղղությամբ»։

Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Հայաստանում ԿԽՄԿ պատվիրակությունից, որի հաղորդագրության մե(ջ նաև նշված է. «Անհայտ կորածների միջազգային օրը նշվում է այսօր՝ նպատակ ունենալով իրազեկելու կառավարություններին, համայնքներին, ԶԼՄ-ներին և աշխարհի հանրությանը հակամարտությունների և բռնության այլ իրավիճակների հետևանքով անհայտ կորածների խնդիրների ու նրանց ընտանիքների կարիքների մասին։ Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության հրադադարից 23 տարի անց անհայտ կորածների հազարավոր ընտանիքներ շարունակում են սպասել իրենց սիրելիների մասին լուրերի։  

Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեն՝ ԿԽՄԿ-ն, աջակցում է հակամարտության կողմերին անկախ միջնորդի իր առաքելությամբ՝ պարզելու այդ մարդկանց ճակատագրերը։ Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության առնչությամբ կան ավելի քան 4500 անհայտ կորած զինվորական և քաղաքացիական անձինք գրանցված են Հայաստանում և Ադրբեջանում ԿԽՄԿ-ի պատվիրակությունների և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում առաքելության կողմից։ Նրանցից ավելի քան 400-ը գրանցված են Հայաստանում։ 2014-ից կազմակերպությունը հավաքում է ԴՆԹ նմուշներ անհայտ կորած անձանց մոտ արյունակիցներից։ Նպատակն է պահպանել այս նմուշները, որոնք հետագայում կմեծացնեն աճյունների ինքնությունը պարզելու հավանականությունը։

ԿԽՄԿ-ն տրամադրում է նաև բազմակողմանի աջակցություն անհայտ կորածների ընտանիքներին, օրինակ՝ օգնում նրանց դառնալ տնտեսապես ավելի կայուն, կողմնորոշվել իրավական կամ առողջական խնդիրներ լուծելիս, ինչպես նաև առաջարկում սոցիալ-հոգեբանական աջակցություն, կազմակերպում հիշատակման միջոցառումներ՝ փորձելով համախմբել համայնքներին նրանց շուրջը։
