Սեպտեմբերի մեկը ավանդականորեն համարվում է գիտելիքի օր: Սակայն ներկայիս հայկական կրթական համակարգի ու սոցիալական վիճակի պայմաններում, շատ քչերը կարող են այն համարել տոն:

Սոցիալական բաղադրիչի առումով բավականին պարզ է: Այն ծանրագույն բեռ է միջին վիճակագրական հայկական ընտանիքների համար: Սեպտեմբերի մեկով տրվում է մեկնարկը երեխաների նոր հագուստի, գրենական պիտույքների, գրքերի, դպրոցների դրամահավաքների և այլ գումարային խնդիրների: Սրան պետք է հավելենք նաև դպրոցների տնօրենների առանձնահատուկ ճաշակը սովորողների հագուստներն ընտրելու հարցում և պատկերը կամբողջանա:

Իսկ կրթական համակարգի այս զարգացումների պարագայում, սեպտեմբերի մեկը չի կարելի համարել գիտելիքի օր: Հայկական դպրոցը, բուհը և ընդհանրապես կրթական համակարգն ամեն օր հետընթաց են գրանցում: Պետական որևէ լուրջ միջամտություն չկա, որը կարող էր փոխել այս վիճակը: Միջամտություններ կան, բայց դրանք հիմնականում տանում են դեպի վատը: Ակադեմիական կրթության ցածր որակը, աճող կոռուպցիան, դատարկվող դպրոցներն ու բուհերը, կեղծարար ուսուցիչները քիչ առնչություն ունեն գիտելիքի օրվա հետ կապված: Այնինչ, Հայաստանն ունի կրթական ավանդույթներ, և եթե այս իշխանությունները հետևողականորեն չփչացնեին դրանք, ապա այսօր կարող էինք ունենալ բոլորովին այլ իրավիճակ:

Սակայն վիճակն օրհասական լինելով հանդերձ ունի ելքեր: Դրանցից մեկը կարող է լինել հասարակական ու քաղաքական ընդվզումն այս ոլորտի շահառուների կողմից՝ ծնողներ, դպրոցականներ, ուսանողներ: Ի վերջո, երբ նայում ենք վերջին շրջանի քաղաքական ու քաղաքացիական զարգացումներին, ապա տեսնում ենք, որ նորմալ երկրներում դրանք սկսվում են բուհերից: Ամենաակտիվ զանգվածը պետք է լինի ուսանողությունը: Ցավոք այսօր, հանրապետականացված ուսանողական խորհուրդները և կեղծարար տնօրենները յուրատեսակ մոնոպոլիա են կայացրել դաշտում: Եթե նշված քայլերը չիրագործվեն, ապա կրթական համակարգը կշարունակվի գահավիժել դժոխքի ճիրաններ:
