Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ և առաջին տիկին Դոնալդ և Մելանյա Թրամփերը ժամանել են Հյուսթոն քաղաք, որտեղ հանդիպել են արդեն մեկ շաբաթ Տեխաս նախանգը պատուհասած և 44 մարդու կյանք խլած «Հարվի» փոթորկից տուժածներին: 

Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, այս շաբաթվա ընթացքում սա նախագահական զույգի արդեն 2-րդ այցն է Տեխաս:

Թրամփերի առաջին կանգառը եղել է մեծ մարզադաշտում, որտեղ տարհանվել են հազարավոր մարդիկ: Նախագահն ու առաջին տիկինը միասին բաժանել են սնունդ, առաջին անհրաժեշտության պարագաներ, ինչպես նաև լուսանկարվել են ու զրուցել անօթևան մնացածների հետ:

Մարզադաշտից հետո նախագահական զույգն ուղևորվել է եկեղեցի, որտեղ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ «Հարվի» հետևանքների ամբողջական վերացման համար կպահանջվի 2-3 տարի:

Պարբերականը նկատում է, որ 47-ամյա տիկին Թրամփն այս անգամ շրջահայացորեն խուսափել է բարձրակրունկներ կրելուց՝ նախընտրելով տափակ մարզակոշիկներ: Հայտնի է, որ Տեխաս կատարած առաջին այցի ժամանակ ԱՄՆ առաջին տիկնոջը քննադատել էին աղետի գոտի բարձրակրունկներով գնալու համար:

Melania was keen to get involved with the heavy lifting and helped her husband as they dished out supplies 

The president spoke with residents as they made their way through a drive-thru at First Church in Pearland on Saturday
