ԵԱՀԿ-ում ԱՄՆ ներկայացուցիչը Ադրբեջանին հիշեցրել է մամուլի ազատության հարցերում սեփական պարտավորությունների մասին

Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգներն արձագանքել է ԵԱՀԿ-ում Ադրբեջանի ներկայացուցչի կողմից ԱՄՆ-ում մամուլի ազատության վերաբերյալ ուղղված քննադատությանը:

«Մենք ի նկատի ենք ունեցել ԱՄՆ-ում խոսքի ազատության առնչությամբ Ադրբեջանի հայտարարությունը և մեզ իրավունք ենք վերապահում ավելի ուշ պատասխանել դրան: Այնուամենայնիվ, մի բան կցանկանայի հստակ նշել: ԱՄՆ-ն աշխարհում ամենաբազմազան և բազմակարծիք լրատվական միջավայրն ունի: Մենք լուրջ ենք վերաբերվում մեր միջազգային պարտավորություններին և խոսքի ու մամուլի ազատության հետ կապված ԵԱՀԿ-ում ստանձնած մեր պարտավորություններին: Դրանք երկուսն էլ առանցքային ամերիկյան արժեքներ են, որոնք արտահայտված են մեր Սահմանադրության մեջ:

Նախկինում մենք լսել ենք, որ որոշ պատվիրակություններ, այդ թվում և Ադրբեջանը, նշել են, որ ԵԱՀԿ չափից շատ ուշադրություն է դարձնում մարդկային չափմանը՝ ի համեմատություն այլ չափումների, որոնք ներառված են կազմակերպության համընդգրկուն անվտանգության գաղափարի մեջ:

Նշվել է նաև, որ մարդկային չափումը որոշ մասնակից պետությունների կողմից օգտագործվում է քաղաքականացված և ընտրովի կերպով: Ավելին, մենք նույնիսկ մտահոգություններ ենք լսել որոշ մասնակից պետությունների կողմից, որ այլ մասնակից երկրների կողմից մարդու իրավունքների շուրջ մտահոգությունների բարձրաձայնումը հավասար է այդ երկրների ներքին գործերին միջամտելուն:

Կցանկանայի շնորհակալություն հայտնել Ադրբեջանի պատվիրակությանը համար և դրանով վերահաստատել 1991թ-ի Մոսկվայի մեր հանձնառությունը, որում նշում է, որ. «կտրականապես և միանշանակ կերպով… մարդկային չափման շրջանակներում ստանձնած պարտավորությունները ուղղակի և լեգիտիմ կորպով առնչվում են բոլոր մասնակից երկրներին և չեն առնչվում այդ երկրների զուտ ներքին գործերին»,- ասված է ԵԱՀԿ-ում ԱՄՆ գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատարՀարրի Քամյանի հայտարարության մեջ:

ԵԱՀԿ մշտական խորհրդի հերթական հանդիպման ժամանակ Ադրբեջանը, որը հայտնի է լրագրողների իրավունքներն ու մասնագիտական գործունեությունը խոչընդոտելու արդեն մեծ փորձառությամբ, հանդես էր եկել Միացյալ Նահանգներում և Եվրամիության անդամ երկրներում մամուլի ազատության սահմանափակումների քննադատությամբ:

ԵԱՀԿ-ում Ադրբեջանի պատվիրակությունը, մոռանալով իր երկրում հարյուրավոր ընդդիմադիր գործիչների հետապնդման ու ազատազրկման դեպքերի մասին, փորձել էր ուշադրություն հրավիրել ԱՄՆ-ում և եվրոպական մի շարք երկրներում լրագրողների նկատմամբ գործադրված բռնությունների նկատմամբ:

Ուշագրավ է, որ հայտարարության վերջում ադրբեջանական պատվիրակության անդամները հորդորել են ԵԱՀԿ անդամ երկրներին «հավատարիմ մնալ ԵԱՀԿ հանձնառություններին»:
