Արդեն ձևավորված ավանդույթ է, որ ՀՀ ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի ամեն մի պարտությունից հետո, երկրպագուները պահանջում են ՀՖՖ նախագահ Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանի հրաժարականը:

Հայրապետյանը օլիգարխ է: Ուզուրպացրել է ոլորտը, ինչպես անում են բոլոր օլիգարխներն Հայաստանում: Յուրաքանչյուրն ուզուրպացնում է մի ոլորտ: Հայաստանյան իրականության տրամաբանության մեջ սա տեղավորվում է: Այդ նույն երկրպագուները, եթե այդքան մտահոգ են Հայաստանի ու այս պետության արժեքներով, ապա ճիշտ կանեին Սամվել Ալեքսանյանի տան դիմաց ցույց անեին ու պահանջեին հրաժարվել շաքարի և ալյուրի ոլորտի մոնոպիայից:

Այս ամենի հետ, Հայրապետյանը շատ քիչ կապ ունի: Չենք ասում կապ չունի, բայց ոչ այնքան, որքան իրեն են վերագրում: Հայաստանը երբեք ֆուտբոլ չի ունեցել, ավելին՝ ֆուտբոլային ավանդույթներ այս երկրում չկան, որ ձևավորվի նաև ֆուտբոլային պահանջ:

Առաջին ֆուտբոլային հանդիպումն Հայաստանում տեղի է ունեցել 1918թ.-ին: Գյումրու քաղաքային զբոսայգում մրցում էին Ալեքսանդրապոլի «Սոկոլը» և Թբիլիս Երկաթուղայինները: Խորհրդային փուլը փոփոխություններ բերեց կյանքի բոլոր ոլորտներում՝ այդ թվում ֆուտբոլի: Էական հաջողություններ չգրանցեցինք:

Միակ բացառությունն Արարատ 73-ն էր, դա էլ խորհրդային քաղաքականության հետևանք էր: Եթե չուզեին, այդ տիտղոսն էլ չէինք նվաճի: Նորանկախ Հայաստանում առանձնապես ֆուտբոլ չենք ունեցել: Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլն արտացոլումն է արտագաղթի, տնտեսական վիճակի, սոցիալական կացության: Ամեն օր դատարկվող Հայաստանում կարող է 50 տարին մեկ աստղ ծնվել, սակայն որևէ ոլորտ, այդ թվում ֆուտբոլը, չի կարող զարգանալ: Եթե ուշադիր նայեք մեր անկախ պետության 26 տարիների պատմությանը, ապա մենք ունենք ընդամենը երկու չափորշչային ֆուտբոլիս՝ Արթուր Պետրոսյանը և Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը:

Երկրորդի վրա մեծապես ազդել է արտասահմանյան դպրոցը: Եթե ուզում ենք Հայաստանում ֆուտբոլ ունենալ ու զարգացնել, ապա պետք է նախ երկիրը զարգացնել: Օրինաչափությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ այս ասպարեզում հաջողություններ գրանցում են զարգացած երկրները: Իհարկե, բացառություններ լինում են, սակայն դրանք շատ հազվադեպ են: Դատարկվող մարզերով առաջնություն չես պահի և տաղանդներ չես ծնի:
