ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Արթուր Դավթյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում ԱՄՆ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ռիչարդ Միլսին: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ դատախազության հանրային կապերի բաժնից, գլխավոր դատախազը կարևորել է ԱՄՆ դեսպանության և ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազության միջև շարունակվող՝ համագործակցությանը միտված ակտիվ շփումները և բարձր է գնահատել հատկապես քրեական գործերի թվայնացման, մասնագիտական վերապատրաստումների և իրականացվող այլ ծրագրերի շրջանակներում գործակցության ակտիվացման ուղղությամբ ամերիկյան կողմի ներդրած ջանքերը:

Դեսպան Միլսը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել շարունակելու աջակցությունը համակարգային բարեփոխումներին ուղղված ինչպես ընթացիկ, այնպես էլ հեռանկարային ծրագրերին: Նա ողջունելի է համարել քրեական վարույթի ընթացքում մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության երաշխիքների կատարելագործման, այս հարցում շահագրգիռ բոլոր շրջանակների հետ երկխոսության գնալուն ուղղված դատախազության վերջին նախաձեռնությունները, ինչպես նաև այն վճռականությունն ու գործողությունները, որոնք ՀՀ դատախազությունն արտահայտում է կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարում:
