Ախուրյանի ջրամբարում ջրի ծավալը վերջին երեք օրերի ընթացքում ավելացել է մոտ 700 հազար խորանարդ մետրով: Այս մասին սեպտեմբերի 8-ին կայացած Շիրակի մարզային խորհրդի հերթական նիստի ժամանակ տեղեկացրեց գյուղատնտեսության վարչության պետ Մովսես Մանուկյանը՝ վստահեցնելով, որ այդ ծավալն օր օրի ավելանում է:

Այս պահին, ըստ պատասխանատուի, ջրի ծավալը կազմում է 2,5 միլիոն խորանարդ մետր: Գյուղատնտեսության բնագավառի հիմնախնդիրների մասին խոսելիս Շիրակի մարզպետը նշեց, որ վարչապետի գլխավորությամբ Շիրակի մարզպետարանում կայացած խորհրդակցության ժամանակ ոլորտի խնդիրներին հանգամանորեն անդրադարձ է եղել: Արթուր Խաչատրյանը կարևորեց մարզում ջրի ամբարման խնդրի կարգավորումը, գյուղատնտեսական ներդրումային ծրագրերի կյանքի կոչումը:

2017 թվականին գյուղատնտեսական տարին այնքան էլ բարենպաստ չի եղել, կլիմայական անբարենպաստ պայմանները մարզում գյուղարտադրանքի նվազման են հանգեցրել:Մասնավորապես, գյուղատնտեսական մշակաբույսերի ցանքատարածությունները 2016թ. համեմատ պակասել է 10139 հա-ով: Աշնանացան ցորենի ցանքատարածությունների նվազման պատճառ է հանդիսացել 2016թ. սերմնաբուծության և սերմարտադրության զարգացման ծրագրի դադարեցումը, իսկ կարտոֆիլի ցանքատարածությունների նվազումը կապված է նախորդ տարվա բերքի իրացման ընթացքում ծագած բարդությունների հետ:
