Միացյալ Թագավորությունը ողջունում եւ սատարում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ջանքերին՝ ուղղված կողմերի միջեւ բանակցություններին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի կարգավորման ուղղությամբ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության շուրջ ծավալվող վերջին զարգացումներին, հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանն ուղղված դիվանագիտական ջանքերին նվիրված ասուլիսի ընթացքում այս մասին հայտարարեց Հայաստանում Միացյալ Թագավորության դեսպան Ջուդիթ Ֆարնուորթը: 

«Մենք տարիների ընթացքում օժանդակել ենք մի շարք ծրագրերի, որպեսզի  տարբեր խմբեր հանդիպեն եւ միասին  քննարկեն տեւական խաղաղության հասնելու ուղիները:  Մենք մեր ուշադրությունը կենտրոնացրել ենք հավասարապես կարեւոր մի այլ ուղղության վրա՝   խաղաղության նախապատրաստման հետ  կապված ներպետական բանավեճը Հայաստանում եւ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում: Այս ծրագիրն անդրադառնում է հասարակության բոլոր շերտերին, ովքեր պիտի ներգրավված լինեն ներքին բանավեճերին:  Կարեւոր է նաեւ ներգրավել երիտասարդներին,  ովքեր չգիտեն, թե ինչպիսին է եղել կյանքը նախքան հակամարտությունը,  նրանց ներկայացնել խաղաղության հնարավոր օգուտները մասին»,- ասաց Ջուդիթ Ֆարնուորթը՝  վստահեցնելով, որ դեսպանությունը պատրաստ է օժանդակել այն նախաձեռնություններին, որոնք միտված  են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը նպաստելուն եւ  հաշտեցման հասնելուն:  Նրա դիտարկմամբ՝ այսպես հնարավոր կլինի նպաստել տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության մակարդակի բարձրացմանը:
