Եվրամիությունում Ադրբեջանի նախկին դեսպան Արիֆ Մամեդովը Ադրբեջանի մասնակցությամբ «Ադրբեջանական լվացքատուն» կոչված կոռուպցիոն սխեմայի վերաբերյալ սկանդալային հայտարարություն է արել:

Արիֆ Մամեդովը հայտարարությունը տարածել է իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջի միջոցով:

Նախկին դեսպանը գրում է, որ «Ադրբեջանական լվացքատան» ուսումնասիրությունների արդյունքում պարզված հաջորդ հանգամանքները կապված են լինելու Ադրբեջանի և եվրապատգամավորների մասնակցությամբ սեքս-սկանդալի հետ:

«Ես արդեն գրել եմ, որ Ֆրանսիայում Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների գլխավոր լոբբիստը հանդիսացող «Ֆրանսիայում Ադրբեջանի ընկերներ» ասոցիացիայի նախագահ Ժան Ֆրանցիս Մանսելը և նրա կինը այլասերվածներ են և, կներեք մանրամասնելուս, համար նրանք խմբակային սեքսի սիրահարներ են: Գրեթե բոլոր լոբբիստները ունեն սեռական շեղումներ և  տարօրինակ սեռական նախասիրություններ: Բաքուն եղել է տարբեր սենատորների և եվրապատգամավորների զվարճանքի սիրելի վայրերից մեկը: Նրանք աշխատանքային գործուղման պատրվակով գալիս են Ադրբեջան, բայց իրականում գալիս են Բաքվում սիրային հանդիպումներ ունենալու համար և, իհարկե, այս ամենի համար վճարում է Ադրբեջանը: Հյուրանոցային սենյակները, որտեղ եղել են այդ հանդիպումները, նախապես կահավորված են եղել նկարահանող սարքերով և իշխանություններն ամեն բան տեսագրել են: 
Կարծում եմ, որ մեր իշխանությունները, կարդալով այս ամենը, հասկանում են, որ ես գիտեմ նաև շատ այլ բաներ»,-նշված է Մամեդովի գրառման մեջ:

Նախկին դեսպանը ենթադրում է, որ վերջին  աղմկահարույց կոռուպցիոն բացահայտումներից հետո կարող են ջրի երես դուրս գալ նաև այդ տեսանյութերը:

Ադրբեջանի իշխող էլիտան երկու տարի շարունակ տնօրինել է մոտ 3 միլիարդ ԱՄՆ դոլար արժողությամբ գաղտնի հաշիվներ, որոնց միջոցներով գումարներ են վճարվել եվրոպացի քաղաքական գործիչներին ադրբեջանամետ որոշումներ կայացնելու համար, ինչպես նաև կատարվել են թանկարժեք գնումներ: 

Այս տվյալները հայտնաբերվել են եվրոպական պարբերականների կոնսորցիումի կողմից իրականացված հետաքննության արդյունքում, որը հրապարակվել է Կազմակերպված հանցագործության և կաշառակերության լուսաբանման նախագծի (Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project) կողմից:
