Սփյուռքը դա հայկական համայնքներն են, որոնք բնակվում են Հայաստանի և Արցախի սահմաններից դուրս: Հայ համայնքների և Հայրենիքի միջև սերտ կապերի ամրապնդումը նպաստում է հայապահպանության գործին: Իզուր չէ, որ ժամանակին մեծն Չարեցն ասել է «ով հայ ժողովուրդ, քո միակ փրկությունը քո հավաքական ուժի մեջ է» և այսօր յուրաքանչյուր հայ պարտավոր է իր ուժերի ներածին չափով նպաստել դեպի միասնականություն տանող կամրջի շինարարությանը:
 
Օրերս Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցավ Հայաստան-Սփյուռք համաժողովը և մինչ դիվանագիտական բլոկում շտկումներ և հստակություն էր մտցվում ներկայացուցիչների կողմից, Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը գործով ապացուցեց և արձանագրեց, թե որքան կարևոր է իր համար, որպես հայրենասեր մարդ, Սփյուռքի հետ ունեցած փոխհարաբերությունները: Շատ չի անցել այն ժամանակից, երբ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը Լիբանանում հանդիպելով հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ, խոստացավ ապագայում աջակցել տեղի հայ ուսանողներին և հնարավորորթյուն ընձեռնել, որպեսզի կարողանան բարձրագույն կրթություն ստանալ Հայրենիքում: Այսօր ահա լիբանանահայ ուսանողների երկրորդ հոսքն է Հայաստանում, ովքեր Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի անձնական միջոցների հաշվին, առանց վճարի, հնարավորություն կունենան ուսանել հայկական ԲՈՒՀ-երում: Այս մոտիվացնող գործողությունը ոչ միայն հնարավորություն է հայ երիտասարդների համար, այլև ինչ-որ տեղ նաև պարտավորեցնող, քանի որ ոչ բոլորին է նման բացառիկ հնարավորություն ընձեռնվում: Այնպես որ, նմանատիպ հայրենանվեր, բայց ոմանց համար անիրագործելի ծրագրերը կյանքի կոչելու համար, հարկավոր է օրինակ վերցնել Գագիկ Ծառուկյանից, ում նվիրվածությունն ու սրտացավությունը պետությանն ու հասարակությանը ահա այսպես է արտահայտվում:
 
Ինչ խոսք, եզակի են նման դեպքերը, անգամ Սփյուռքում են կարկամել Ծառուկյանի այս քայլերից, քանի որ տարիներ շարունակ, այնպես է դասավորվել, որ օգնողի և օժանդակողի դերում միշտ Սփյուռքն է եղել, իսկ հիմա վեկտորի ուղղությունը փոխվել է իշնորհիվ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի և դա պարարտ հող է, նոր ավելի կայուն և արմատացած հարաբերություններ Սփյուռքի հետ ստեղծելու համար:
