Ամենատարածված գույնն է։ Կարմիր գույնն ընտրում են կոմունիստական անցյալ կամ ներկա ունեցող երկրները։ Սլովենիայի, Չինաստանի, Սերբիայի, Ռուսաստանի, Լիտվայի, Ռումինիայի, Վրաստանի քաղաքացիներին կարմիր գույնի անձնագիր է տրվում։ Եվրամիության երկրների մեծ մասում անձնագրերը կարմիր գույնի են։ Երկրները, որոնք հետաքրքրված են Եվրոպական միություն մուտք գործելով, ինչպես, օրինակ, Թուրքիան, Մակեդոնիան, Ալբանիան, վերջերս են փոխել իրենց քաղաքացիներին հատկացվող անձնագրերի գույնը։

Կապույտ

Երկրորդ տարածված գույնը։ Կապույտ կազմը խորհրդանշում է «նոր աշխարհը»։ Կարիբյան 15 երկրների անձնագրերն այս գույնի են։ Հարավային Ամերիկայի երկրներում անձնագրերի կապույտ գույնը խորհրդանշում է ՄԵՐԿՈՍՈՒՐ-ի հետ կապը։

Կանաչ

Մուսուլմանական երկրների մեծ մասի անձնագրերը կանաչ գույնի են։ Այդ երկրների շարքում են Մարոկկոն, Սաուդյան Արաբիան, Պակիստանը։ Կանաչը համարվում է Մուհամեդի սիրելի գույնը և խորհրդանշում է բնությունն ու կյանքը։ Կանաչ գույնի անձնագրեր տրվում են նաև Արևմտյան Աֆրիկայի երկրների քաղաքացիներին։ Այս դեպքում գույնը վկայում է Արևմտյան Աֆրիկայի երկրների՝ Տնտեսական միությանն անդամակցության մասին։

 

Սև

Սև գույնի անձնագրեր հազվադեպ են հանդիպում։ Դրանք տրվում են աֆրիկյան որոշ երկրների քաղաքացիների՝ Բոտսվանա, Զամբիա, Բուրունդի, Անգոլա, Չադ, Կոնգո, Գաբոն, Մալավի և այլն։ Սև անձնագրեր տրվում են նաև նորզելանդացիներին, քանի որ սևն այդ երկրի ազգային գույնն է։
