Սերժ Սարգսյանը երեկ «առատաձեռն» գտնվեց։ Տարբեր բնագավառներից մոտ 200 անձի շնորհեց մեդալներ, կոչումներ։ Ֆեյսբուքահայությունը անուն առ անում քննարկեց ու քննադատեց «մեդալակիրներին»։ Դերասան Մկոյի պարագայում «Վաստակավոր արտիստ» կոչումը չքննադատվեց, սակայն տարակուսանքով ընդունվեց։ Շատերը գրեցին, որ տարիներ շարունակ գրեթե նույն հետագծով Մկոյի հետ գործունեություն է ծավալել նաև դերասան Հայկոն, որը ևս արժանի է վաստակավոր արտիստի կոչմանը։ Ի դեպ, Հայկոն հանրության շրջանում ընդդիմադիր դերասանի համարում ունի։

-Հայկո, ինչպե՞ս եք վերաբերվում սոցցանցային այս քննարկումներին։

-Ոչ միայն կարևոր է, թե ով է ստանում կոչումը, կարևոր է, թե ով է տալիս։ Եվ ես վերջին տարիների ընթացքում իմ հարցազրույցներում անդրադարձել եմ այս հարցին։ Քանի որ ես չեմ ընդունում ներկայիս իշխանությունների գործելաոճը, նաև չեմ կարող ընդունել նման տիպի մրցանակ։ Բացի այդ հայտարարել եմ, որ եթե անգամ իրենք ուզենան ինձ շնորհել կոչում, ես կօգտվեմ իմ իրավունքից և կհրաժարվեմ։

-Այսինքն՝ Ձեր քաղաքական հայացքներն են դեր խաղացել «վաստակավորի» կոչմանը չարժանանալու հարցում։

-Իշխանության պատկան մարմինները քաջ տեղյակ են իմ հայտարարություններին, և ինձ թվում է՝ շատ նորմալ է,որ էն մարդուն, որը ի սկզբանե ասել է, որ չի ընդունելու իշխանություններից ոչ մի կոչում, անգամ չառաջարկեն։

-Կոչումներ, մեդալներ ստացած մարդիկ ընդունո՞ւմ են իշխանության գործելաոճը։

-Ես ոչ մեկի համար չեմ կարող ասել՝ ոնց են իրենք պատկերացնում, ես իմ տեսակետն եմ արտահայտում։ Ես համացանցում տեսա՝ բուռն քննարկում էին։ Շատ շնորհակալ եմ իմ ժողովրդին, բայց կուզեի բոլորին ասել, որ ես չէի էլ վերցնելու, ես դա ասել եմ երկու, երեք տարի առաջ, ոչ հիմա։ Ինձ թվում է՝ ամեն ինչ շատ ավելի լավ է եղել։Անձամբ ինձ համար ամենամեծ կոչումը ժողովրդի վստահությունն է, ժողովրդի գնահատականն է, ժողովրդի կոչումը։ Ժողովուրդն է ինձ կոչում տալիս։ Ես չեմ սպասում, որ ինչ-որ չինովնիկ կոչում տա։

-Հայկո, ըստ Ձեզ՝ պարգևատրման այս արարողությունները ձևակա՞ն բնույթ են կրում։

-Ինձ համար սիստեման միշտ անհասկանալի է եղել։ Շատ շատերը կան, որ արժանի են, շատ շատերը կան, որ արժանի չեն, քանի որ անհասկանալի ինստիտուտ է, որտեղ կրիտերիաներ չկան։ Եվ եթե կրիտերիաներ չկան, անիմաստ ա նաև քննարկելը՝ այս մեկին ինչի չտվեցին, մյուսին ինչու տվեցին։
