Ամերիկացի բժիշկների կողմից անվճար բուժզննում անցածների մեծ մասը Տավուշի մարզում ունեցել է զարկերակային բարձր ճնշում և շաքարախտ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ԱՄՆ-ից  ժամանած թերապևտ Ծովինար Թեքելյանն այս հանգամանքը պայմանավորում է նրանց՝ սահմանամերձ շրջանում ապրելով, ինչպես նաև բարձրադիր գոտիով:

«Հետազոտություն անցած հիվանդների մեծամասնությունն ուներ զարկերակային բարձր ճնշման և շաքարախտի խնդիր: Նպաստող գործոններից եմ համարում սթրեսը՝ սահմանամերձ շրջանում գտնվելու պատճառով, մարզի բարձրադիր գոտի լինելը, բացի այդ նաև դրամական հնարավորությունների պակասը՝ գնելու դեղորայք»,-ասաց թերապևտ, ներքին հիվանդությունների մասնագետ Ծովինար Թեքելյանն ու հավելեց, որ իրեն դիմած մարդկանց ամենատարածված գանգատներն էին գլխացավը, զարկերակային բարձր ճնշումը, սթրեսը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ իրենց նպատակն էր տեսնել բոլոր հիվանդներին և նրանց ապահովել անհրաժեշտ դեղորայքով: Ամերիկացի բժիշկները բերել և տավուշցիներին բաժանել են նաև բավականին մեծ թվով անվճար դեղորայք՝ ճնշման, շաքարախտի, հոդացավերի, ստամոքսի: Եղել է նաև դեպրեսիայի դեմ դեղորայք: «Հուսանք, որ մյուս տարի ավելի շատ դեղորայք կբերենք: Սրտային հիվանդություններով, ինֆարկտի նախանշաններով մի քանի հիվանդների ուղեգրել ենք Երևան: Թալասեմիայով  ծանր հիվանդների ևս փորձել ենք օգնել, այդ աշխատանքն ընթացի մեջ է»,-ասաց Թեքելյանը:

Թերապևտի խոսքով՝ հետազոտել են նաև բարորակ գոյացություններով հիվանդների, կատարել են վիրաբուժական միջամտություն: «Երկու ամերիկացի պաթոլոգներ տեղում ստուգել են ուռուցքների պրեպարատները, և նմուշները տեղափոխում են ԱՄՆ, որտեղ ավելի մանրակրկիտ հետազոտություններ կանցկացվեն: Պատասխանները կուղարկենք Նոյեմբերյանի հիվանդանոց»,-ասաց Թեքելյանն ու հավելեց, որ Նոյեմբերյանի հիվանդանոցը 3 տարի առաջվա համեմատ շատ ավելի պատրաստված է:

Նոյեմբերյանի հիվանդանոցում Գլենդելի բժշկական կենտրոնի բժիշկների կողմից սեպտեմբերի 16-21-ը կատարվել են  անվճար զննում, բուժում և վիրահատություն: Ծրագիրն իրականացրել է «Հայաստան» համահայկական հիմնադրամը:
