Հունաստանի լավագույն մարմնավաճառը

Ձեր առջև ֆրանսիացի նկարիչ Ժան-Լեոն Ժերոմի՝ «Ֆրինան արեոպագոսի առջև» նկարն է։ Ո՞վ էր Ֆրինան։ Ֆրինան, ընկերներ, Հին Հունաստանի այսպես ասած VIP-մարմնավաճառ էր։ Ապրել է մեզանից շատ առաջ՝ մ.թ.ա. վեցերորդ դարում։ Այդ ժամանակաշրջանում, մարդկության մի կեսը՝ տղամարդիկ, արդեն կարիք ունեին ծախու սիրո։ Իսկ Ֆրինան այդ հարցում լավագույնն էր։ Նա այնպիսի իդեալական մարմին ուներ, որ անգամ ժամանակակիցները որոշել էին, այն դարձնել որպես իդեալական գեղեցկության օրինակ։

Հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ նա հատուկ կարգավիճակով մարմնավաճառ էր, ապա իրավունք ուներ ընտրելու հաճախորդին։ Այսինքն, գումար ունենալը դեռ քիչ էր, նա պետք է հավաներ քեզ, որպեսզի պարգևեր սիրո գիշեր։ Օրերից մի օր, նրան ցանկանում էր տիրանալ մի հայտնի քաղաքական գործիչ։ Ֆարինան մերժեց։ Վերջինս որոշեց վրեժ լուծել և աստվածներին վիրավորելու, նույնն է թե սրբապղծության հոդվածով դատի տվեց Ֆարինային։ Այն ժամանակներում, դա լուրջ հոդված էր, որի արդյունքում հնարավոր էր մնալ առանց գլուխ։ Դատական մարմինը կոչվում էր արեոպագոս։ Անվանումն առաջացել է այն լեռան անունից, որ վրա գումարում էին նիստերը։ 

Դատարանը հավաքվեց, ու սկսվեց գործընթացը։ Ֆարինան ներկայացավ դատարան։ Առաջին ելույթ ունեցավ հենց մեղադրողը։ Նա Աթենքի բոլոր դժվախտությունների՝ այդ թվում արժեքների անկման, սրբապղծության և այլ ծանր հանցագործությունների մեջ մեղադրեց Ֆարինային։ Այնուհետ սկսեց խոսել Ֆարինայի դատապաշտպանը, այդ փուլում ամենահայտնի հռետորներից Հիպերիդը։ Փաստաբանն իր ելույթի ընթացքում տեսնում էր, որ այն չի աշխատում ր դատավորները հակված են կնոջը հինգից տաս տարի դատապարտել։ 

Ցուցադրեք մարմինը, աղջիկներ, անպայման օգնում է

Տեսնելով այդ փակուղին, Հիպերիդը խոսքի ընթացքում հանում է Ֆարինայի հագուստը և նա մնում է մորեմերկ։ Երբ քայլն ունեցավ իր ազդեցությունը, Հիպերդը դիմեց դատավորներին.«Դուք միայն նայեք այս մարմնին, միթե նման մարմին ունեցող կինը կարող է մեղավոր լինել։ Մտածեք սեփական գլխով»։ Դատավորներն իհարկե նայեցին նրա մարմնին, խորհրդակցեցին և որոշեցին, որն դատապաշտպանը ճիշտ է։ Նման մարմնի տեր կինը չի կարող լինել մեղսագործ։ Ֆարինան ուրախությունից ցատկեց տեղից ու բոլոր դատավորներին այդ երեկո հրավիրեց իր տուն ընթրիքի։ Ընթրիքն իհարկե կայացավ։ Դժվար է ասել, թե բավարարվեցին միայն ընթրիքով, թե էլի ինչ-որ բաներ տեղի ունեցան։ Թող յուրաքանչյուրն այս հարցում մտածի իր փչացածության աստիճանի համաձայն։
