Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի նորաբաց «Գարեգին Ա» կրթական կենտրոնում, սեպտեմբերի 24-ին տեղի է ունեցել շքանշանների հանձնման արարողություն։ Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի ձեռամբ Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու «Սուրբ Սահակ-Սուրբ Մեսրոպ» պատվո բարձր շքանշան շնորհվեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին պատմող «Խոստում» ֆիլմի պրոդյուսեր Էրիկ Իսրայելյանին եւ ֆիլմի ռեժիսոր Թերի Ջորջին։

Գարեգին Բ-ն գոհունակությամբ նշեց, որ ՀԲԸՄ-ի նախաձեռնությամբ առիթ է ընձեռվել Հայոց Եկեղեցու եւ աշխարհասփյուռ ժողովրդի անունից Սուրբ Էջմիածնում բարձր պարգեւների արժանացնելու երկու անձանց, որոնք իրենց կարեւոր աշխատանքով ներկայացան ոչ միայն հայ ժողովրդին, այլեւ ողջ աշխարհին՝ դրանով իրենց ներդրումը բերելով հայոց ազգի իրավունքների եւ նրա նկատմամբ արդարության հաղթանակի նվիրական ու սուրբ գործին։

Վեհափառ Հայրապետը բարձրորեն գնահատեց ազգային հերոս, մեծ բարերար Քըրք Քըրքորյանի տեսիլքի իրագործման համար ներդրված ջանքերը։ Նորին Սրբությունը նկատեց, որ բազում փորձեր են արվել նկարահանելու Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը նվիրված ֆիլմ եւ բնավ դյուրին չէ նման մեծածավալ, մոնումենտալ մի գործ իրականացնել։

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընդգծեց, որ բոլորը  մասնավոր ապրումներով ու զգացումներով են դիտել ֆիլմը, որովհետեւ ամենքի իղձն ու ցանկությունն էր ունենալ այնպիսի մի ֆիլմ, որը մարդկությանը ֆիլմարվեստի ճանապարհով կներկայացներ հայ ժողովրդի այն մեծ ողբերգությունը, որ իրագործվեց Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի կողմից, երբ մեկուկես միլիոն հայորդիներ նահատակվեցին իրենց պատմական հայրենիքում, իսկ մնացյալը հայրենազրկվեցին։

Նորին Սրբությունը շեշտեց, որ Աստծու ողորմությամբ հայ ժողովուրդը շնորհիվ իր հավատքի եւ մեծ կամքի կարողացավ վերապրել այդ ողբերգությունը եւ երեք տարի անց Սարդարապատում պարտության մատնել ցեղասպան թուրքի կանոնավոր բանակին։

Վերջում Հայոց Հայրապետն իր աղոթքն ու բարեմաղթանքներն ուղղեց ֆիլմի պրոդյուսերին եւ ռեժիսորին՝ նորանոր ներշնչանքներով արգասավորելու իրենց կյանքը եւ շարունակելու բարի գործեր մատուցել համայն մարդկությանը։

Նորին Սրբությունը նաեւ իր գնահատանքն ու շնորհավորանքները փոխանցեց կրթական կենտրոնի բարերարներ տեր եւ տիկին Հայկ եւ Էլզա Տիտիզյաններին հաստատության նորամուտի առիթով՝ մաղթելով քաջառողջ կյանքի բազում տարիներ՝ վայելելու իրենց եկեղեցաշեն ու հայրենանվեր բարի իրագործումները։

Արարողությանը ներկա էին Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի եւ Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո Կաթողիկոսության միաբաններ, Մայր Աթոռի բարերարներ, ՀԲԸՄ անդամներ, մեծարյալների հարազատներ եւ մտերիմներ։

Այնուհետեւ հյուրերը շրջայց կատարեցին «Գարեգին Ա» կրթական կենտրոնում, ծանոթացան նորաբաց հաստատության պայմաններին։

Նույն օրը Մայր Տաճարում մատուցված Սուրբ Պատարագի ընթացքում, նախագահությամբ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի, կատարվել էր հոգեհանգստյան արարողություն երջանկահիշատակ Գարեգին Ա Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հոգու խաղաղության համար։
