Սեպտեմբերի 26-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ընդունել է Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Ազգային Ժողովի պատգամավոր Օլիվիե Դասոյին՝ ուղեկցությամբ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Արմեն Սարգսյանի:

Ինչպես հայտնում են Մայր Աթոռի տեղեկատվական համակարգից, հանդիպմանը Նորին Սրբությունն ուրախությամբ նշել է, որ հաճելի է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում հյուրընկալել Ֆրանսիայի բարեկամ ժողովրդի ներկայացուցիչներին: Վեհափառ Հայրապետը գնահատանքով նշել է ֆրանսիացի պատգամավորի անձնական ներդրումը հայ-ֆրանսիական խորհրդարանական բարեկամության ամրապնդման գործում:

Խոսելով Սուրբ Էջմիածնի հոգևոր առաքելության, հայ ժողովրդի կյանքում ունեցած դերակատարության մասին` Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն ընգծել է, որ հայ ժողովուրդն իր քրիստոնեական զորեղ հավատքի շնորհիվ կարողացավ հաղթահարել պատմության ընթացքում իրեն բաժին ընկած բազում փորձություններ, այդ թվում նաև` Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունը:

Նորին Սրբությունն այս կապակցությամբ իր խորին երախտագիտությունն է հայտնել Ֆրանսիայի բարեսեր ժողովրդին` Հայոց Եղեռնը վերապրած հայորդիներին իրենց երկրում ապաստան տալու և օգնելու առնչությամբ:
