Ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացրել էինք, սեպտեմբերի 25-ին Իրաքյան Քուրդիստանում տեղի ունեցավ անկախության հանրաքվե։ Պաշտոնապես արդյունքները պետք է ամփոփվեն հանրաքվեից երեք օր անց։ Սակայն Իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի ղեկավարը չի սպասել այդ արդյունքների պաշտոնական ամփոփմանը և հանդես է եկել կոչով։  Ի մասնավորի Իրաքի Քուրդիստանի ղեկավար Մասուդ Բարզանին հայտարարել է. «Դուք՝ Քուրդիստանի ժողովուրդը, թույլ չեք տվել կոտրել ձեր կամքը։ Ու հիմա, այն բանից հետո, երբ դուք ասել եք «այո» անկախացմանը ու «ոչ» քիմիական հարձակումներին ու ցեղասպանությանը, մենք նոր փուլ ենք թեւակոխում»։

Այս հանրաքվեն պաշտոնապես ճանաչել և ողջունել է Իսրայելը։ Իհարկե, Իսրայելի այս քաղաքական քայլը պետք է պայմանավորել Իրանի հետ ունեցած բացասական հարաբերությունների համատեքստում։ Սակայն դա չի նշանակում, որ ԱՄՆ-ն, Իսրայելի միջոցով իր դրական մեսսիջը չի փոխանցում։

Իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի հռչակումով տարածաշրջանը կանգնեց նոր խնդիրների առաջ։ Մինչ այս պահը, որևէ ընդհանուր եզր չունեցող Իրանը և Թուրքիան, այժմ ունեն նույն քաղաքական գիծը։ Դա տրամաբանական է, քանի որ երկու երկրների տարածքներում ապրում է բազմամիլիոնանոց քրդական համայնք։ Ձնագնդի էֆեկտով, այս գործոնը կարող է տարածվել նաև նրանց վրա և զարմանալի չի լինի, եթե մի օր, Իրանի և Թուրքիայի քրդերը ցանկություն հայտնեն միավորվեր Իրաքում ապրող իրենց եղբայրների հետ, առավել ևս, որ ունեն ընդհանուր սահմաններ։

Հետաքրքիր է նաև հանգամանքը, որ հիմնական խաղացողները՝ Ռուսաստանը, ԱՄՆ-ն, Ֆրանսիան, Անգլիան և Գերմանիան, դեռ բաց տեքստով հայտարարություններ չեն արել։ Իհարկե, անուղղակի ակնարկներ կամ որոշակի հայտարարություններ կան, սակայն էության մեջ դրանք ոչինչ չեն նշանակում։

Հետաքրքիր է Հայաստանի դիրքորոշումն այս հարցում։ Ծածուկ լռությունը և թաքցված համակրանքը մեզ չեն խանգարի։ Իհարկե, կարող ենք դիտարկել Հայաստանի կողմից Իրաքի քրդերի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի ճանաչումը։ Սակայն դա կվնասի հայ-իրանական հարաբերություններին, ավելորդ լարվածություն  կստեղծի Թուրքիայի հետ։ Սա այն դեպքն է, երբ կարելի է աջակցել դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ցանկացած որոշում, միայն թե այն բխի Հայաստանի շահերից և չլինի Մոսկվայի հրահանգով։
