Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպման ժամկետների վերաբերյալ այս պահին հստակություն չկա: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի փոխնախարար Շավարշ Քոչարյանը: «Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարները խոսել են այդ մասին: Տեղյակ եք, որ եղել է պայմանավորվածություն, որ համանախագահները պետք է այցելեն տարածաշրջան, լինեն և Երևանում, և Բաքվում, և Բաքվում: Կարծում եմ, որ այդ հանդիպումների ընթացքում կհստակեցվեն նախագահների հանդիպման ժամկետները: Կարծում եմ, որ այդ հարցը կորոշվի այդ հանդիպումների արդյունքում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Քոչարյանը:

Հարցին՝ համանախագահները նոր առաջարկներ ներկայացրել ե՞ն, Շավարշ Քոչարյանը պատասխանեց. «Ի՞նչ է նշանակում նոր առաջարկներ, ես լավ չեմ հասկանում: Առ այսօր կա մի փաստաթուղթ, որը հիմք է բանակցությունների համար: Դա Մադրիդյան փաստաթուղթն է: Եթե բանակցությունների ընթացքում եղել են ուրիշ առաջարկներ, դա հարցի մյուս կողմն է: Պարզապես իրավիճակն ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո այնպիսին է, որ բոլորի համար ակնհայտ է, որ առաջընթացի համար անհրաժեշտ է համապատասխան մթնոլորտ: Առաջընթացն անհնար է նաև առանց բանակցություններին Արցախի մասնակցության, ինչի մասին բազմիցս խոսել են նաև համանախագահները: Այս երկու հանգամանքը կա՝ վստահության մթնոլորտ, որի մեջ մտնում են նաև Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունների կատարումը, բանակցություններին Արցախի մասնակցությունը: Որևէ այլ նորություն գոյություն չունի»:  

Անդրադառնալով հարցին՝ Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունները մոռացության են մատնվե՞լ, ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ պատասխանեց. «ես չգիտեմ, թե ով է մոռացության մատնել, բայց հայկական կողմերն ու համանախագահները հաստատ մոռացության չեն մատնել»:

Դիտարկմանը, թե Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների հանդիպմանը հաջորդած հայտարարության մեջ համանախագահները Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունների մասին չեն խոսում, ինչով էլ այդ հայտարարությունը նախորդներից տարբերվում է, Քոչարյանը պատասխանեց. «այս պահին օրակարգային հարց է, թե ինչպես ապահովել բանակցային գործընթացի արդյունավետությունը: Առանց այդ պայմանավորվածությունների անհնար է առաջ գնալ: Ես հիշեցնեմ, որ այդ հարցը միայն ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո չի առաջ եկել: Մենք դրա մասին մինչ այդ էլ բազմիցս խոսել ենք: Անգամ հրադադարի պայմանագրի կնքումից հետո, որի տակ կան Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի և Արցախի ստորագրությունները, խոսք է գնացել հետաքննության մեխանիզմների մասին: Ո՞րն է հետաքննության մեխանիզմների էությունը: Մենք անընդհատ խոսում ենք այն մասին, որ համանախագահները հասցեագրված հայտարարություններ չեն անում: Իհարկե, Ադրբեջանն արդեն այնքան է անցել սահմանը, որ մենք կարող ենք դեպքեր մատնանշել, որ համանախագահների հայտարարությունները հասցեագրված են, սակայն դրանք բացառիկ դեպքեր են, որովհետև համանախագահները նման մանդատ չունեն: Իսկ հետաքննության մեխանիզմը լիազոր մարմին է, որը մատնանշում է հրադադարը խախտող կողմին»:
