Չինաստանի Wuhan University համալսարանի գիտնականների անցկացրած հետազոտությունից պարզվել է, թե որ կանայք են հատկապես գրավում տղամարդկանց ուշադրությունը:

Հարցումն անցկացվել է 280 ուսանողի շրջանում, որոնց ցույց է տրվել տարբեր գույնի զգեստներով կանանց 32 լուսանկար և առաջարկվել գնահատել դրանք: Երիտասարդներն ամենաբարձր գնահատականները տվել են կարմիր գույն հագած լեդիներին` նրանց դիտելով որպես ավելի գայթակղիչ և փորձառու:

Հետաքրքիր է, որ կարմիր հագած կանայք համանման տպավորություն թողնում են նաև ծանոթությունների կայքերում: Հետազոտողները նշում են, որ կարմիրի բոլոր երանգները կանաց դարձնում են առավել նուրբ և տղամարդկանց համար հրապուրիչ:

Նախքինում գիտնականները եկել էին այն եզրակացության, որ կանայք կարմիր կամ վարդագույն զգեստ կրում են հատկապես դաշտանային շրջանում, անգիտակցորեն իրենց վրա գրավելով տղամարդկանց հայացքները:

Սակայն միայն տղամարդկանց չէ, որ հրապուրում է կարմիր գույնը: Կանանց ևս դուր են գալիս կարմիր հագոստ կրող տղամարդիկ, սակայն տպավորությունն շատ ավելի թույլ է, քան գեղեցիկ սեռի ներկայացուցիչների պարագայում:

Այդուհանդերձ, կարմիրն ագրեսիա է առաջացնում թույլ սեռի ներկայացուցիչների մոտ այն դեպքում, եթե այդ գույնի զգեստ կրում է մեկ այլ կին:
