Ընտանեկան բռնությունների կանխարգելման մասին օրենքը դրվում է հանրային քննարկման

«Ընտանեկան բռնությունների կանխարգելման և ընտանեկան բռնության զոհերի պաշտպանության մասին» օրենքի նախագիծը հանրային քննարկումների դնելուց հետո կներկայացվի կառավարությանը, որից հետո նաև Ազգային ժողով: Այդ մասին կառավարության նիստից հետո նշեց ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարար Դավիթ Հարությունյանը՝ ավելացնելով, որ հանրային մեծ հետաքրքրություն կա օրենքի նախագծի նկատմամբ:
«Ճանապարհը, որը մենք բռնել ենք, համարում ենք խիստ կարևոր: Աշխարհի 120 երկիր արդեն անցել է այդ ճանապարհը: Բայց, այնուամենայնիվ, հաշվի առնելով, որ հաճախ լինում են տարօրինակ մեկնաբանություններ օրենքի դրույթների վերաբերյալ, որոնք բացարձակապես որևէ աղերս չունեն այդ օրենքի հետ, մենք երկուշաբթի օրը Մատենադարանում պատրաստվում ենք կազմակերպել հանրային քննարկում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ,  ասաց նա՝ ավելացնելով, որ պաշտոնական վիճակագրությունն ընտանեկան բռնության վերաբերյալ ինքնին անհանգստացնող է: Բացի դրանից, ըստ Հարությունյանի, իրականում կան բազում թաքնված դեպքեր, որոնք մտահոգիչ են: «Այդ դեպքերը բացահայտվում են տարբեր հետազոտություններով, սակայն անգամ պաշտոնական վիճակագրությունը մտահոգիչ է»,- ասաց նա՝ ավելացնելով, որ նախագիծը ձգձգվում է, քանի որ այն լրամշակվում էր: 
Ըստ նախարարի՝ ուսումնական աշխատանքի անհրաժեշտություն ևս կա, ստեղծվելու են համապատասխան կենտրոններ, կրթվելու են ոստիկանության համապատասխան աշխատակիցները: «Այսինքն` լուրջ աշխատանք է մեզ սպասում, սակայն կարևորն օրենքն է: Նպատակը, որը դրվել է, համարում ենք հույժ կարևոր»,-ասաց նա և նշեց, որ փորձել են բալանսավորել բոլոր շահերը:
Ինչ վերաբերում է օրենքի նախագծի` ավանդույթներին հակասելու մտահոգությանը, Դավիթ Հարությունյանն ասաց. «Եթե ենթադրում եք ազգային ավանդույթ է կնոջը կամ երեխային ծեծելը, ես չեմ կարող համաձայնել, որ դա մեր ազգային ավանդույթն է, ընդհակառակը շեղվում է ազգային ավանդույթներից»:
