Ընտանեկան բռնությունների պաշտոնական վիճակագրական տվյալների համաձայն 2017 թվականին արձանագրվել է ամուսնու կողմից բռնության 63 դեպք։ 

Լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարար Դավիթ Հարությունյանն ասաց, որ 2017 թվականի առաջին կիսամյակում ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի վարույթում գտնվել է ընտանեկան բռնության մասին 215 քրեական գործ, որից 5-ը՝ սպանության հանցակազմով։ 2016 թվականին գրանցվել է ընտանեկան բռնության 359 դեպք։ 2016 թվականին ամուսնու կողմից գրանցվել է ընտանեկան բռնության 136 դեպք։ Բռնության դեպքերը լինում են նաև կնոջ, թոռան, ամուսնու ծնողների և ընտանիքի այլ անդամների կողմից։

«Բռնությանն ավանդաբար հատուկ է լատենտայնության մակարդակը, այսինքն՝ թվերը, որոնք մենք տեսնում ենք, իրականությունը չեն արտացոլում, բայց անգամ այս թվերը շատ մտահոգիչ են»,- ընդգծեց նախարարը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ 2012-2016 թվականներին պաշտոնապես ՀՀ ոստիկանության կողմից գրանցվել է ընտանեկան բռնության 3571 դեպք։

«Պաշտոնապես գրանցված թվերի համեմատ, վստահ եմ, ստվերային թվերը շատ ավելի մեծ են։ Սա փաստ է և սրա մասին խոսում են բազմաթիվ հետազոտություններ։ Քննչական կոմիտեի հրապարակած տվյալների համաձայն՝ 2015 թվականին ընտանեկան բռնության համատեքստում սպանությունները կազմում են հանրապետությունում գրանցված սպանությունների 17 տոկոսը»,- ներկայացնելով ընտանեկան բռնությունների վիճակագրական տվյալները՝ ասաց Դավիթ Հարությունյանը։

2015 թվականի առաջին կիսամյակում միայն անչափահասների սեռական ազատության և սեռական անձեռնմխելիության դեմ ուղղված հանցագործությունների դեմ հարուցվել է մի քանի տասնյակ քրեական գործ։ Նա մտահոգիչ է համարում այն հանգամանքը, որ գործերի զգալի մասը վերաբերել է ընտանիքի անդամի կողմից անչափահասի նկատմամբ ոտնձգությանը։
