Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հնարավոր հանդիպման վերաբերյալ հայկական կողմի պատրաստակամության մասին կհայտնի ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի մամուլի ծառայությունը, սակայն ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության վերաբերյալ հայկական կողմի դիրքորոշումը երբեք չի փոխվի։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում, անդրադառնալով ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների հայտարարությանը, ըստ որի՝ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահները բանակցությունները շարունակելու պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել, ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահն ընդգծեց, որ նախագահների հանդիպման հավանականության վերաբերյալ խոսելը իր լիազորությունների շրջանակներում չէ, սակայն շեշտեց, որ մի բան հստակ է՝ հայկական կողմի դիրքորոշումը ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում երբեք չի փոխվի:

«Հայկական կողմի դիրքորոշումը ՄԱԿ-ի ամբիոնից ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը։ Սա տարածքային վեճ չէ, ուստի Ադրբեջանի նախագահի մտորումները տարածքային ամբողջականության մասին ոչ այլ ինչ են, քան ֆարս»,- ասաց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ սա ուղղակի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարց է, որտեղ Արցախի բնակչության ինքնորոշման իրավունքի ամբողջական իրացումը կենսական անհրաժեշտություն Է։ «Առանց այդ իրավունքի ամբողջական իրացման, մենք չենք կարող այլ խնդիրներից խոսել։ Խնդիրների խնդիրն Արցախի քաղաքացիների ինքնորոշման իրավունքի ամբողջական իրացումն է։ Մնացած խնդիրներն ածանցյալ են»,- եզրափակեց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխխոսնակը։

ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները՝ Իգոր Պոպովը (Ռուսաստան), Էնդրյու Շեֆերը (ԱՄՆ), Ստեֆան Վիսկոնտին (Ֆրանսիա) իրենց և ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցիչ Անջեյ Կասպրշիկի՝ տարածաշրջան այցի ավարտին հանդես են եկել Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահներ Սերժ Սարգսյանի ու Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ հանդիպումների արդյունքներն ամփոփող հայտարարությամբ: Դրանում նշվել է, որ քննարկումների նպատակն է եղել ավարտել նախագահների հանդիպում կազմակերպելու աշխատանքը, այդ թվում՝ հստակեցնելու քննարկման հնարավոր թեմաները:   

«Երկու նախագահներն էլ հաստատել են իրենց պատրաստակամությունը՝ վերսկսելու բանակցությունները՝ հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը հասնելու նպատակով: Առաջիկա գագաթնաժողովի մասին տեղեկատվությունը համապատասխան կողմերը կներկայացնեն մոտակա ապագայում»,- ասված է համանախագահների տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:
