ՄԱԿ-ում Հյուսիսային Կորեայի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Կիմ Ին Ռոնը Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի զինաթափման հարցերով հանձնաժողովի նիստի շրջանակում ունեցած ելույթի ժամանակ հայտարարել է, որ պաշտոնական Փհենյանը կողմ է հուլիսին ընդունված միջուկային զենքի ամբողջական արգելքի մասին կոնվենցիային: Միևնույն ժամանակ, պաշտոնյան ընդգծել է, որ փաստաթղթին դեմ է ԱՄՆ-ն:

«Բայց քանի դեռ ԱՄՆ-ն, որը շարունակում է Հյուսիսային Կորեային շանտաժի ենթարկել ու սպառնալ միջուկային զենքով, չի ընդունում միջուկային զենքի արգելման մասին համաձայնագիրը, Հյուսիսային Կորեան չի միանա փաստաթղթին»,-ասել է Կիմ Ին Ռոնը, գրում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի» գործակալությունը։

Պաշտոնյան ընդգծել է, որ Փհենյանի մոտ միջուկային զենքի ու բալիստիկ հրթիռների առկայությունն արդարացված է ինքնապաշտպանության փաստով:

«Աշխարհում ոչ մի այլ երկիր ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից այսքան տևական ժամանակ չի ենթարկվել նման ծայրահեղ ու ուղիղ միջուկային սպառնալիքի: Կորեական թերակղզու շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը, որին գամված է ամբողջ աշխարհի ուշադրությունը, հասել է կրիտիկական կետի. միջուկային պատերազմը կարող է սկսվել ցանկացած պահի»,-հավելել է նա:

Հյուսիսկորեացի դիվանագետը հավելել է, որ իրենք ոչ մի դեպքում չեն բանակցի միջուկային ծրագրի, բալիստիկ հրթիռների հարցերով, ինչպես նաև մեկ քայլ անգամ հետ չեն գնա ընտրած ուղուց, քանի դեռ ԱՄՆ-ի վարած թշնամական քաղաքականությունն ու միջուկային սպառնալիքն ամբողջովին չեն վերացվել:

Կիմ Ին Ռոնի հավաստմամբ՝ Հյուսիսային Կորեան գրեթե ամբողջությամբ ձևավորել է երկրի միջուկային ուժերն ու այժմ ունի ատոմային, ջրածնային ռումբերի, ինչպես նաև միջմայրցամաքային բալիստիկ հրթիռների տեղափոխման տարբեր միջոցներ:

«ԱՄՆ-ի ամբողջ տարածքը գտնվում է մեր հրթիռների թռիչքի գոտում, ու եթե Միացյալ Նահանգները համարձակվի գեթ մի թիզ ներխուժել մեր սրբազան երկիր, ապա չի կարողանա խուսափել մեր դաժան պատժից»,-հայտարարել է Կիմ Ին Ռոնը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է Փհենյանի միջուկային ծրագրի հարցը լուծել ուժի կիրառմամբ:
