Twitter-ի ղեկավարությունը հայտնել է բոլոր գովազդային հայտարարությունների՝ ներառյալ քաղաքական գովազդի տեղադրման նոր կանոնների սահմանման մասին: «Առաջիկա շաբաթներին մենք կգործարկենք ճյուղում առաջատար թափանցիկության կենտրոնը»,- նշված է ընկերության հայտարարության մեջ, փոխանցում է DW-ն:

Օգտատերերը հատուկ կայքում կկարողանան տեղեկություններ ստանալ Twitter-ում  բոլոր գովազդային հայտարարությունների վերաբերյալ, մասնավորապես՝ այն մասին, թե ով է այն տեղադրել եւ որքան վաղուց: Իսկ քաղաքական գովազդը հատուկ կերպ կնշվի:
