Գավառի երկրագիտական թանգարանում տեղի ունեցավ մերօրյա հերոս, Հայոց բանակի զոհված կապիտան Գեորգի Մնացականյանի հեղինակած եւ հետմահու հրատարակված «Արծվաքարի արծիվը» գրքի շնորհանդեսը:

Շնորհանդեսին ներկա էին Գեորգիի ծնողները, հարազատները, Գեղարքունիքի մարզպետարանի, Գավառի քաղաքապետարանի եւ քաղաքի կրթամշակութային հաստատությունների աշխատակիցներ, ապրիլյան քառօրյայի մասնակիցներ, Գեորգիի ծառայակից ընկերներ:

Շնորհանդեսն ուղեկցվեց հայրենասիրական երգերի եւ բանաստեղծությունների կատարմամբ, Գեորգիին նվիրված տողերի ընթերցմամբ, որոնք ներկայացրին հերոսի անունը կրող Գավառի թիվ 7 միջնակարգ դպրոցի աշակերտները: Մանրամասն ներկայացվեց «Արծվաքարի արծիվը» գրքի բովանդակությունը, որտեղ ամփոփված են հերոսի հեղինակած քնարական ստեղծագործությունները:

«Այս փոքրիկ ձեռնարկում ներկայացված են մերօրյա հերոս, մեր Արծվաքարի արծիվ՝ Գեորգի Մնացականյանի գրվածքները, բանաստեղծություններն ու նամակները, ինչպես նաեւ՝ նրա հիշատակին նվիրված ստեղծագործությունները:

Այս ձեռնարկը մեր շնորհակալության եւ երախտագիտության այն փոքրագույն արտահայտությունն է, ինչը կարող ենք ցուցաբերել Գեորգիի եւ մյուս հերոսների սուրբ հիշատակի հանդեպ»,-ներկայացրեց գրքույկի կազմող եւ խմբագիր, Գեորգիի քույր Էլլա Մնացականյանը: Առավել սրտառուչ ստացվեց Ապրիլյան հերոսամարտի մասնակից Նորայր Զախարյանի խոսքը:«Գեորգի Մնացականյանը ոչ միայն իմ արժանավոր համաքաղաքացին է, այլ հայ սերունդների անզուգական հերոսը:

Նա այն քաջն էր, որ իր կյանքի գնով՝ պայթելով ականի վրա, փրկեց իր մի քանի ծառայակից մարտիկ ընկերների կյանքը: Այո, նա կանխեց մի քանի մայրերի արցունքներ, փոխարենը չեն ցամաքում իր նույնքան հերոս մոր արցունքները: Խոնարհվում ենք նրա սուրբ հիշատակի, նրա գործած սխրանքի առաջ»,-ներկաներին դիմեց Նորայր Զախարյանը:

«Դրվատելի է նաեւ հերոսի քույր Էլլայի գործը, ում ջանքերի շնորհիվ եւս մեկ մասունք փրկվեց Գեորգիից եւ որով հարստացավ մեր թանգարանի Փառքի սենյակում նրան նվիրված անկյունը: Գեորգին եւս մեկ անգամ մեր կողքին է հոգեպես, մեզ ապրեցնում է իր հերոսական ու գրական գործերով: Շնորհակալ ենք նրա ծնողներից՝ ազգին նման զինվոր որդի պարգեւելու համար»,-նշեց Գեղարքունիքի երկրագիտական թանգարանի տնօրեն Բյուրեղիկ Մնեյանը:
