Երգիչ Ջոնի Կարապետյանն արդեն երեք տարուց ավելի է, ինչ ընտանիքի հետ միասին մշտական բնակությամբ տեղափոխվել է ԱՄՆ: Երգիչն իր գործունեությունն այնտեղ է շարունակում՝ թողարկելով նոր երգեր ու տեսահոլովակներ: Life.panorama.am-ին Ջոնին պատմել է Գայանե Ասլամազյանին եւ նրա ամուսնուն նվիրված երգի  եւ ԱՄՆ մեկնելու պատճառների մասին:

-    Ջոնի, կխնդրեմ պատմել, թե ինչպես ստեղծվեց «Իմ սրտի տեր» երգը: Հայտնի է, որ այն նվիրված է Գայանե Ասլամազյանին եւ Ջիանի Օնչոյին. Դա Ձեր նվե՞րն է նրանց, թե հատուկ պատվեր է:

-    Երբ Գայանեն տեղափոխվեց այստեղ՝ ԱՄՆ, Օնչոյի հետ փոքրիկ հավաքույթ կազմակերպեցին, որտեղ ես եւս հրավիրված էի: Այդ ժամանակ երգեցի իմ «Սիրում եմ քեզ» երգը, որի ներքո նրանք պարեցին, իսկ վերջում Գայանեն ասաց, որ այդ կամ մեկ այլ երգ իրենց նվիրեմ: Դե քանի որ այդ երգն արդեն հայտնի էր ու ուներ կոնկրետ հասցեատեր, ուստի որոշեցի, որ նրանց մեկ այլ երգ եմ նվիրելու, որը հատուկ նրանց մասին կլիներ: Ի դեպ՝ պետք է նշեմ, որ այս երգը ծնվեց նրանց երջանկությունից, քանի որ նրանց հոգեվիճակը մի տեսակ շատ ոգեւորիչ է: Հետեւաբար, պատվերի մասին խոսք լինել չի կարող: Ի դեպ՝ նշեմ նաեւ, որ երգի հեղինակը ես եմ:
