ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Գլխավոր կոնֆերանսի Փարիզում ընթացող 39-րդ նստաշրջանի ընթացքում Հայաստանի պատվիրակությունը, օգտվելով պատասխանի իրավունքից, հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ՝ արձագանքելով Ադրբեջանի պատվիրակության ելույթին։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից։

Հայտարարությունում, մասնավորապես, ասված է․

«Ադրբեջանի ելույթը հերթական փորձն է աղավաղել իրականությունը և մոլորության մեջ գցել ներկաներին։

Իրական ագրեսորը հենց Ադրբեջանն է, որը իրագործեց Բաքվի և Սումգայիթի հայկական բնակչության ջարդերը, այնուհետև՝ լայնածավալ պատերազմ նախաձեռնեց Արցախի ժողովրդի դեմ՝ ի պատասխան ինքնորոշման իրավունքի իրագործման խաղաղ կոչերի։

Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է խեղաթյուրել ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհրդի համապատասխան բանաձևերի դրույթները։ Իրականում, բանաձևերից ոչ մեկում Հայաստանը չի նշվում որպես հակամարտող կողմ։ Մյուս կողմից, առանց նախապայմանների ռազմական գործողությունները դադարեցնելու հիմնական պահանջը չի կատարվում հենց Ադրբեջանի կողմից։

Հայաստանի և Արցախի իշխանությունները  վարում են քրիստոնյաների, մահմեդականների և այլ կրոնների մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանության քաղաքականություն, առաց որևէ խտրականության։ Արցախում վերականգնվում են նաև  պատերազմական գործողությունների հետևանքով վնասված մի շարք մզկիթներ։

Պետք է հստակ տարբերակում արվի ռազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ վնասված կամ ոչնչացված ժառանգության և Ադրբեջանում հայկական հուշարձանների՝ խաղաղ պայմաններում պետական մակարդակով իրականացվող միտումնավոր ոչնչացման միջև։

Հայաստանում, որն Ադրբեջանը որակում է որպես «մոնոէթնիկ» երկիր, ապրում են բազմաթիվ ազգային և կրոնական փոքրամասնություններ, որոնք ազատորեն վայելում են իրենց լեզվական և մշակութային իրավունքները, ինչպես նաև ունեն ընտրված ներկայացուցիչներ ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովում։

Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների հայատյացության պետական քաղաքականությունը, ինչի մասին շարունակաբար ահազանգում են այլատյացության հարցերով զբաղվող մասնագիտացված միջազգային կառույցները, ինչպես նաև հայերի նկատմամբ կատարված հանցագործությունների անպատժելիության զգացումը վերածվում է վտանգավոր «մշակույթի» ձևավորման։ Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարության կողմից մարդասպան Ռամիլ Սաֆարովի փառաբանումն ու հերոսացումը դրա հերթական տխուր ապացույցն է»։
