ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը նոյեմբերի 13-ին ընդունել է Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Սենատիանդամ Քրիստոֆ Անդրե-Ֆրասսային:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հանրային կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով սենատորի այցը Հայաստան՝ Արա Բաբլոյանն անդրադարձել է հայ-ֆրանսիական հարաբերություններին, որոնց հիմքում ընկած են երկու ժողովուրդների միջեւ պատմամշակութային բազմադարյան կապերը: Արա Բաբլոյանը գոհունակությամբ փաստել է երկու երկրների միջեւ առկա միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերությունների զարգացումը՝ ընդգծելով բարեկամական խմբերի նշանակալի ավանդն այդ գործում: Խորհրդարանի ղեկավարն անդրադարձել է ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի խնդիրներին, աշխարհում խաղաղության ամրապնդմանն առնչվող հարցերին եւ ֆրանկոֆոն երկրների ջանքերն այս հարցերում միավորելուն:

Քրիստոֆ Անդրե-Ֆրասսան իր խոսքում նշել է, որ ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովը եւ Ֆրանսիայի խորհրդարանի երկու պալատները սերտորեն եւ դինամիկ համագործակցում են: Սենատորի գնահատմամբ՝ երկու ժողովուրդների բարեկամությունը դարերի պատմություն ունի եւ այսօր էլ գտնվում է բարձր մակարդակի վրա: Քրիստոֆ Անդրե-Ֆրասսան անդրադարձել է գալիք տարի Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության՝Հայաստանում անցկացվելիք գագաթաժողովին՝ կարեւորելով այդ իրադարձությունը թե՛ Ֆրանսիայի, թե՛Հայաստանի համար: Ֆրանսիացի սենատորն հատկապես ընդգծել է ֆրանկոֆոն երկրների ղեկավարների հանդիպումների կարեւորությունը, որոնք պետք է ընթանան բուն գագաթաժողովին զուգահեռ:

 Հանդիպման ավարտին Արա Բաբլոյանը եւ Քրիստոֆ Անդրե-Ֆրասսան քննարկել են Ֆրանկոֆոնիայիմիջազգային կազմակերպության գագաթաժողովի անցկացմանը վերաբերող կազմակերպչական հարցեր: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաեւ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովում ՀՀ ԱԺ պատվիրակության ղեկավար Մարգարիտ Եսայանը:
