Արժեքային դեգերումների այն հանգրվանը, որում հասցրել են հայաստանյան հասարակությանը, մեղմ ասած կատաստրոֆիկ վիճակում է:

Առաջին հերթին, գործանականում, բոլոր հասարակություններում, մարդիկ ընդունում են որոշակիացված հիմնական արժեքներ՝ ենթադրելով, որ օրինակ սպանությունը դա վատ է: Եվ որոշ հիմնային սոցիալական համակարգեր, ինչպիսին ընտանիքն է, սակայն տարբեր ձևաչափերով: Որպես կանոն, մարդիկ, հասարակությունների մեծ մասում, ունեն «բարոյական գիտակցության» ընդհանուր մոտեցումներ:

Այո, դրանք եղել են, բայց ոչ այն ծավալներով, ինչ ունենք հիմա: Ինքնասպանությունների թիվը վերջին տարիներին կրկնակի աճել է: Աճել է նաև անչափահասների կողմից խուլիգանության, բռնության, դանակահարության ու նման այլ դեպքեր:

Երկու իրավիճակի բնութագիրը և գնահատականը տալու համար, պետք է չէ անել խորքային վերլուծություն: Հասարակությունը մեծ հաշվով այն արժեքների կրողն է, ինչ արժեքներ որ նրանց մեջ սերմանում են: Խուլիգանությունը, գողականը, հայհոյանքը, անմարդկային որակումները և բռնությունը քարոզվում են ամեն օր: Քարոզվում են հեռուստատեսությամբ: Դրա կրողն են պաշտոնյաները, ոստիկանները, կեղծարարները, իշխանությունը: Ու այս իրավիճակը ձեռնտու է այդ մարդկանց: Սա ստեղծում է ձևախեղված հասարակություն, որն ունակ չէ որևէ կերպ մտածել արժեքային այլ՝ բարձր համարվող հայեցակարգերի մասին:

Իսկ ինքնասպանությունների մեծ մասի հիմքում ընկած է սոցիալական խնդիրը, ինչպես նեղ՝ սոցիալական առումով, այնպես էլ՝ սոցիոնորմատիվ հարաբերությունների մասով: Չես կարող մեղադրել 42-ամյա տղամարդուն, որը տանն ունի սոված երեխաներ և որևէ հույս չունի նրանց ինչ-որ կերպ հաց տանելու: Սա է հայաստանյան իրականությունն այսօր:
