Չինաստանի Ժողովրդաազատագրական բանակի Ռազմածովային լոգիստիկ կենտրոնի հրամանատարությունը իրական մարտի ռեժիմում տանկային զորավարժություններ է անցկացրել, հայտնում է China Daily-ն:

Հաղորդվում է, որ հնգշաբթի անցկացված զորավարժություններին մասնակցել են մի քանի ինքնագնաց հակատանկային զինատեսակներ եւ հետեւակի ռազմական մեքենաներ, որոնք տեղակայված են բազայում: Զորավարժությունների հիմնական նպատակը զորքերի մարտունակության ստուգումն էր, ինչպես նաեւ տեղանքի պայմաններին հարմարվելը:

Զորավարժություններն անցկացվել են Ջիբութիի նախագահի Չինաստան այցի ֆոնին: Հինգշաբթի օրը՝ ավելի վաղ կողմերը շրջանակային համաձայնագիր են ստորագրել Ջիբութիի կառավարությանը Չինաստանի կողմից արտոնյալ վարկերի տրամադրման մասին:

2016 թվականի փետրվարին Չինաստանը հայտարարել էր Ջիբութիում ռազմաբազայի կառուցման մասին, որն անվանել են լոգիստիկ կենտրոն: Ռազմածովային լոգիստիկ կենտրոնի բացման  հանդիսավոր արարողությունը տեղի է ունեցել այս տարվա օգոստոսի 1-ին: Չինաստանի իշխանությունները չեն հրապարակում այնտեղ տեղակայվելիք անձնակազմի թիվը, սակայն մամուլում տեղեկություն է հայտնվել, որ բազայում կտեղակայվի մոտ 10 հազար մարդ:

Վերջին տարիներին Չինաստանի ներդրումները Ջիբութիում անշեղորեն աճում են: Չինաստանի ֆինանսավորած նախագծերի թվում է  Ջիբութիում ազատ առեւտրի գոտու ստեղծումը, որի շինարարությունը սկսվել է այս տարվա հունվարին: Ազատ առեւտրի գոտում ընդհանուր 340 մլն դոլարի ներդրումը իր տեսակի մեջ ամենախոշորն է համարվում ամբողջ աֆրիկյան մայրցամաքում:
