ՀՀ հատուկ քննչական ծառայությունում դեռևս 2012թ. հունիսի 9-ին քրեական գործ է հարուցվել փաստաթղթեր կեղծելու, խաբեությամբ ուրիշի գույքը հափշտակելու և հափշտակության փորձ կատարելու, ինչպես նաև դատախազի կողմից կաշառք ստանալու դեպքերի առթիվ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ հատուկ քննչական ծառայության լրատվական ծառայությունից, հիշյալ գործով պարզվել է, որ 40.000 ԱՄՆ դոլար վարկ ստանալու համար ՀՀ քաղաքացի Սերգեյ Ափոյանի կողմից կեղծ սեփականության վկայական ներկայացնելու վերաբերյալ հաղորդմանն օրենքով սահմանված կարգով ընթացք չտալու համար Արաբկիր և Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանների դատախազության նախկին ավագ դատախազ Խաչատուր Բաղդասարյանը միջնորդ Արթուր Ղուկասյանի միջոցով 9.000 ԱՄՆ դոլար կաշառք է պահանջել Ս. Ափոյանից: Մասնավորապես, 2012 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 3-ին և 4-ին ավագ դատախազն անձամբ` միջնորդի միջոցով Ս. Ափոյանից մաս-մաս ստացել է համապատասխանաբար 8.000 և 1.000 ԱՄՆ դոլար կաշառք:

Հիշյալ ծանր հանցանքը կատարելու` առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով կաշառք ստանալու համար Խ. Բաղդասարյանը 2012թ.-ին սեպտեմբերի 10-ին ներգրավվել է որպես մեղադրյալ, սակայն քննությունից թաքնվելու հիմքով վերջինիս նկատմամբ հայտարարվել է հետախուզում: Նույն օրը դատարանի որոշմամբ նրա նկատմամբ որպես խափանման միջոց է ընտրվել կալանավորումը, որից հետո նշված քրեական գործով վարույթը կասեցվել է մինչև հետախուզվող մեղադրյալի հայտնաբերումը:

Խ. Բաղդասարյանը հայտնաբերվել է Ուկրաինայի իրավապահ մարմինների կողմից և 2017 թվականի նոյեմբերի 24-ին ՀՀ ոստիկանության աշխատակիցների կողմից տեղափոխվել Հայաստան: Նույն օրը ՀՀ հատուկ քննչական ծառայությունում որոշում է կայացվել  հետախուզվողին հայտնաբերելու հիմքով քրեական գործի վարույթը վերսկսելու մասին: Նրան մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 311-րդ հոդվածի 4-րդ մասի 2-րդ կետով նախատեսված` առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով կաշառք ստանալու համար: 2017թ.-ին նոյեմբերի 25-ին ավագ դատախազի նկատմամբ ընտրված խափանման միջոց կալանավորումը Արաբկիր և Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանների ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանի կողմից վերահաստատվել է:
