ԱՄՆ-ում բազմազավակ ընտանիքները միշտ էլ սիրված են եղել հասարակության կողմից։ Բայց խոսքը գնում է ոչ թե երեք կամ չորս, այլ, օրինակ, վեց և ավելի երեխաներ ունեցող ընտանիքների մասին։

Մայա Շելբին և Ռոզոնո ՄաքԳին հանդիպել են ավագ դպրոցում։ Ամուսինը՝ Ռոզոնոն, մի անգամ պատմել է․ «Հիշում եմ, թե ինչպես էր Մայան ամեն օր քայլում միջանցքով՝ գրքերը ձեռքին, կարծես՝ գնում էր որևէ առաքելություն իրականացներ»։ Շուտով նրանք սկսեցին հանդիպել՝ խորացնելով երկուսի միջև ծագած սերը։ Մայան ու Ռոզոնոն ամուսնացան, երբ երկուսն էլ ընդամենը 20 տաեկան էին։

Rough Times

Ծնողների հարցում երկուսի բախտն էլ, մեծ հաշվով, չէր բերել․ թե՛ Մայան, թե՛ Ռոզոնոն հայր չունեին և մեծացել էին միայնակ մայրերի կողմից։ Մայայի եղբայրը ծանր հանցագործության մեջ էր մեղադրվում, իսկ Ռոզոնի մայրը թմրամոլ էր։ Մի խոսքով՝ նրանք ստիպված էին իրենց կյանքը լիովին ինքնուրույն դասավորել՝ առանց որևէ մեկի օգնության, քանի որ նրանք կյանքում չկար այդ մեկը, ով գոնե խորհուրդներ կտար։

External Help

Տարիներ շարունակ նրանց չէր հաջողվում երեխա ունենալ և, վերջիվերջո, նրանք որոշեցին դիմել բժշկական օգնության։ Նրանց ֆինանսական միջոցները բավականին համեստ էին, բայց որոշ ժամանակ գումար տնտեսելու արդյունքում նրանք արհեստական բեղմնավորում արեցին։ Մայան վերջապես հղիացավ, այն էլ՝ զույգով։ Թվում էր՝ ամեն ինչ լավ է ընթանում, սակայն կրկին բախտը նրանցից երես թեքեց։ Ցավոք, զույգ պտուղը ժամանակից շուտ լույս աշխարհ եկավ, իսկ բժիշկներին չհաջողվեց փրկել նրանց։ Բայց Մայան ու Ռոզոնը չհանձնվեցին և որոշեցին կրկին փորձել։ Այս անգամ նրանց անակնկալ էր սպասվում՝ վեցնյակ։

Not Just One

Երեխաները լույս աշխարհ եկան առողջ և առանց առողջական խնդիրների։ Ռոզոնոն այդ ժամանակ գորգերի լվացման և կահույքի վերանորոգման կետ ուներ։ Մայան ևս աշխատում էր, սակայն երեխաների խնամքի համար ստիպված էր դուրս գալ աշխատանքից։ Միանգամից նույնատարիք վեց երեխայի պահելն իսկապես դժվար էր․ օրական մի քանի տասնյակի հասնող տակդիրներ, հատուկ սնունդ, խնամքի պարագաներ և այլն։

Babies Are Expensive

Իրենց ընտանիքի գեղեցկությունը ցույց տալու համար նրանք որոշեցին հետաքրքիր ֆոտոշարք անել։ Լուսանկարներից մեկում, որը կարող եք տեսնել ստորև, Մայան կիսանստած է, իսկ պառկած ամուսնու վրա խոր քուն են մտել նրանց վեց զավակները։ Հենց այս լուսանկարն էլ հրապարակման պահից միանգամից տարածվեց ողջ համացանցով մեկ՝ նրանց դարձնելով աշխարհում երբևէ ծնված վեցնյակներից ամենահայտնին։

Կարելի է ասել՝ այդ լուսակարը դարձավ ընտանիքի հաջողության բանալին, քանի որ դրա հրապարակումից հետո ընտանիքը հայտնվեց բոլոր ԶԼՄ-ների ուշադրության կենտրոնում, իսկ տարբեր ընկերություններ և բարերարներ նրանց ֆինանսական օգնություն ցուցաբերեցին։

Ավելի քան վեց տարի է անցել վեցնյակի ծնունդից, սակայն ՄաքԳիների ընտանիքին բոլորը դեռ հիշում են։ Այժմ նրանք ավելի մեծ տանն են ապրում, իսկ երեխաները դպրոց են հաճախում։ Վերջերս նրանք որոշել են կրկնել վեց տարի առաջ արված հայտնի լուսանկարը։

Երբ Մայան ու Ռոզոնոն ամուսնանում էին, նրանք չունեին բավարար միջոցներ, որպեսզի նշեին այն։ Իսկ հիմա, երբ ոչնչի կարիք չունեն, նրանք կազմակերպել են իրական ամուսնություն։
