ՀՀ ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանն ընդունել է Հարավային Կովկասում ՆԱՏՕ-ի կապի գծով գրասենյակի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Ռոզարիա Պուլյիզիին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հանրային կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովում` Արմեն Աշոտյանը կարեւորել է ՆԱՏՕ-Հայաստան գործակցությունը եւ այդ համատեքստում խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության դերը, նշել, որ արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը մշտապես պատրաստ է առավել սերտ համագործակցության Հարավային Կովկասում ՆԱՏՕ-ի կապի գծով գրասենյակի հետ` նպատակ ունենալով քննարկել փոխգործակցության օրակարգերը, տարածաշրջանային եւ միջազգային համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերն անդրադարձել են խորհրդարանական հարթակներում կառուցողական փոխգործակցության զարգացման կարեւորությանը:

ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ գործընկերային հարաբերությունների հետ կապված Արմեն Աշոտյանը նշել է, որ դաշինքի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացումը տարիների ընթացքում արձանագրել է փոխգործակցության որակական աճ: Այս համատեքստում հանձնաժողովի նախագահն ընդգծել է այն հանգամանքը, որ Հայաստանը ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ փոխհարաբերությունները դիտարկում է որպես իր բազմաշերտ անվտանգային համակարգի կարեւոր բաղկացուցիչ մաս:

Զրույցի ընթացքում կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաեւ միջազգային խաղաղության եւ կայունության հաստատման հարցում հավաքական ջանքերի գործադրման կարեւորությանը, ինչի հետ կապված արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը եղել եւ շարունակում է հանձնառու մնալ անվտանգության սպառողից անվտանգության մատակարարողի վերածման իր պատրաստակամությանը: Այս համատեքստում կարեւորվել է Կոսովոյում եւ Աֆղանստանում ընդգրկվածությանը զուգահեռ նաեւ ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո Լիբանանում իրականացվող առաքելություններին հայկական զինվորականների մասնակցությունը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաեւ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացին: Արմեն Աշոտյանը մեծապես կարեւորել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի աջակցությունը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների միջնորդական ջանքերին, ինչպես նաեւ ընդգծել, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի ընդունած քաղաքական փաստաթղթերում ԼՂ հակամարտությանը վերաբերող դիրքորոշումները պետք է ամբողջությամբ արտացոլեն ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ջանքերը: Արմեն Աշոտյանը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հետ կապված անդրադարձել է նաեւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ հանդիսացող Թուրքիայի ապակառուցողական քաղաքականությանը` նշելով, որ Թուրքիան իր կողմնակալ եւ ապակայունացնող քաղաքականությունը փորձում է գործի դնել նույնիսկ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հարթակում, ինչն անթույլատրելի է:

Զրույցի ընթացքում կողմերը քննարկել են նաեւ կրթության ոլորտում ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ համագործակցության ծրագրերի հետ կապված հարցեր:

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել Եվրոպական միության հետ Համապարփակ եւ ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի ստորագրմանը՝ կոմպլեմենտար արտաքին քաղաքականության իրականացման տեսանկյունից այն դիտարկելով որպես հաջողության պատմություն:

Հանդիպման ավարտին կողմերը քննարկել են նաեւ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացման հետ կապված հետագա հնարավորությունները:
