Հայաստանում Բելգիայի Թագավորության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ժան-Արթուր Ռեժիբոյի գնահատականով` հայ-բելգիական 25-ամյա հարաբերությունները բարձր մակարդակի վրա են:

«Հայկական սփյուռքն ամբողջ աշխարհում մեծաթիվ է, Բելգիայում ապրում է 50 հազար հայ, հետևաբար մեր երկու երկրների միջև մարդկային, ինչպես նաև տնտեսական շատ սերտ կապեր են առկա: Օրինակ, ադամանդի ոլորտում համագործակցությունը շատ կարևոր է Բելգիայի համար: Մեր ցանկությունն է, որքան հնարավոր է բարելավել այս հարաբերությունները»,- Երևանում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նշեց դեսպան Ռեժիբոն:

Անդրադառնալով նոյեմբերի 24-ին ՀՀ-ԵՄ Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի կնքմանը` Ժան-Արթուր Ռեժիբոն դա ինչպես Բելգիայի, այնպես էլ եվրոպական մյուս երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների խորացման կարևոր քայլ համարեց: 

«Հայաստանը մի կողմից Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության անդամ է, մյուս կողմից` ստորագրեց համաձայնագիր Եվրամիության հետ: Դա նշանակում է, որ Հայաստանը կարող է ստանձնել կամուրջի դեր այս երկու միությունների միջև, ինչը մենք շատ ողջունում ենք»,-հավելեց դիվանագետը:
